Have to say I'm getting a little burnt on the game and don't think I'll make it all the way through. I'm level 17 and have put around 20 hrs in. Although I've heard people say Skyrim VR is a completely new experience, that's really kind of hyperbole. Of course, VR makes the experience feel different in a sense, but it really is (no surprise) the same quests.
I had just completed a second run of Skyrim (SE) not too long ago, so all of this feels dreadfully familiar. I had also played about 20 hrs of a third run, while waiting for Skyrim VR. I guess I over did it. I know how all the quests go. Hell, I did them twice within the past six months. I don't think I'm up for spending another 100 hours in this game, completing everything for a third time. I have already spent nearly 500 hours in this world. It's one of my favorite games of all time, and yet, I'm not looking forward to completing all the quests all over again. VR adds a third dimension, but it doesn't remove the sense of "eh boy, here we go again" when it comes to the quests.
Not to complain too much, but I also find questing in dungeons and caves sort of unpleasant. It's not claustrophobic, just grim and dark, not an atmosphere I like. I much prefer being outside. It doesn't matter so much in a "flat" game, but in VR, the effect is much more pronounced for me.
Maybe I'll just futz around with a few quests I feel like doing, or maybe just do some above-ground exploring. I probably need to give Skyrim a rest and try other VR games, too. Skyrim has been pretty much the only thing I've played since I got the unit.
