Who said there is no bias? EVERYONE has a bias, my bias used to be towards xbox (this used to be called teamxbox remember?) and that changed because of choices that MS made. It would seem that unlike you I'm able to change my mind about something if I don't like where it's going, you have an xbox bias and that's fine I wouldn't expect you not to because of where we are but you claiming other people having a bias as if you don't is rich.
What about saying PS5 does have some advantages is picking and choosing? it does and that's a fact but that doesn't mean anyone is saying it's more powerful or as powerful as the XSX overall but some of you seem to want that to be what we've said because you are overly defensive for some reason.

I wish MS could make better decisions and stop falling on there faces(coming from a fan) but they just don't know the industry.
They have improved and made many gamer friendly choices though.
Both are actually close in power.
Both have advantages over each other.
XSX wins in overall power.
PS5 will win in better visuals via it's exclusives.
PS5 will hit 10 million sold 1st and win another gen by a landslide.

I've said what users see on the screen and experience will be close. What visual differences are present won't meaningfully change the experience... nor will most Joe Schmo's even be able to discern a difference.

I've said repeatedly that the Series X is indeed overall better, and that's true. I've said that there's litterally no frame the PS5 can draw that the X can't draw faster - that's true. I've said that the rendering pipeline is superior on the X - that's true. I've said the PS5 does NOT have a better audio solution - that's true.
I have no problem with Sony's faster SSD. It's not going to make any difference in rendering. The Xbox will always be better in every way WRT rendering. That's just a fact.
But it's true. Call it what you want, it's the truth.
The truth is that the power superiority of the X (while obvious, measurable, and provable) won't make much of a difference in terms of the experience gamers get. Call of Shooty 2001 will be the same experience on both boxes and look nearly visually indistinguishable.
That's the truth.
So while the power difference is not small, the net/net visual differences will be (to anyone honest).

Maybe, but Microsoft already has more monthly active users playing Xbox games. Living room consoles is only one way to play games... thankfully, Microsoft gets that.
Volume of consoles is one metric... but not really the most important one.

The advantages you mention won't do anything meaningful to close the gap my dude. That's just the bare bones, unadulterated truth. Its done. Sony will resort to doing what they do best with their brand of games which have seen massive success! They just have the weaker console from the gate. Doesn't mean it won't deliver bangers though.
Microsoft still has some work to do in the first party department. But I have no doubts they'll also have a stellar generation with all the new studios and talent.

That's really cool, sadly that's Nvidia stuff and from what I've been reading the AMD GPU's in the next gen consoles don't have the dedicated hardware for it, they may support something similar but from what I'm reading it doesn't sound like they can just run this on dedicated hardware and not have it take away resources needed for other tasks the way Nvidia's set up can. That may not be totally accurate but that's just what I've been reading since seeing that video this morning.
