Rumor was June for Xbox hardware and services. July for first party games via Xbox Insider. So wasn't Microsoft supposed to have a July hardware showing?
Oh, right. [Edit: Duh] So when is this June hardware event?Rumor was June for Xbox hardware and services. July for first party games via Xbox Insider.
No date announced...because it is rumor. But MS did say that their Xbox 20/20 was EVERY month. So June is a month! So I guess 18 days left for this supposed Xbox hardware/ services detail.Oh, right. So when is this June hardware event?
Ah, OK. Seems weird for Microsoft to not announce a date well ahead for something like that. Maybe they will just drop it this time, due to elevated expectations of the 3rd party games reveal. No date announced...because it is rumor. But MS did say that their Xbox 20/20 was EVERY month. Yeah, then Aaron responded by saying stuff wasn't delayed. I am tired of social media. The person who started the June rumor said it was pushed to August

Looked like a VR game to me.So does Ghostwire Tokyo, for me. I expected something totally different in style and tone. Like, X-files in Tokyo with samurai swords and seals?
I also thought it was going to be third person.
Edit: I should ask XGS to make this game.
I think soI'm on the assumption that there will be no June show/video.
Exactly. I bet Lockhart is nothing more than a discless version of the Series X.
MS never made it official but the rest of the world said there was...I find that strange.I'm on the assumption that there will be no June show/video.

Every month will bring something different. Stay tuned to Xbox Wire for more details.
This is the quote that is messing everyone one up, straight from Microsoft in May.
Xbox 20/20: Join Us as We Look into the Future of Xbox - Xbox Wire
[Editor’s Note on 8/7/2020 – Xbox has a massive year ahead of us, as outlined below. After reassessing our programming for the rest of the year, we’ve decided to stop using the “Xbox 20/20” phrasing as it implied that we would be releasing information in one way only, through a dedicated monthly...news.xbox.com
So based on that, people expected another Inside Xbox type of event for June maybe this time focusing on hardware or Gamepass.
Greenberg comes out a few days ago with this:
My gut tells me the poor reception for May's Inside Xbox and Greenberg's/Xbox's misleading PR for the event might have caused a change in their plans even if they don't want to admit it.
PS5's diskless version is very likely way more powerful than the puny 4TF Lochheart is why.I find it funny how people raised hell over Lockhart but as soon as Sony announces another console with PS5, its crickets...
Well your beloved youtubers are acting like it's official.MS never made it official but the rest of the world said there was...I find that strange.
Beloved Youtubers? Every Insider journalist worth their weight in salt is saying that it was a thing. That doesn't make it official, it just makes it believable.Well your beloved youtubers are acting like it's official.
Yes he's trying to discredit Lockhart talk when his YouTuber's are saying it the most.Beloved Youtubers? Every Insider journalist worth their weight in salt is saying that it was a thing. That doesn't make it official, it just makes it believable.
I say to this stop tweeting and start doing. These tweets mean nothing to me anymore. Especially after the May debacle.
