That guy likely doesn't have access to either console dev kit and I don't think he understand what Sony's doing with their CPU/GPU speeds either. Too many people keep trying to compare it to PC boosting and it's not the same thing. Matt actually has seen the games being worked on for both machines, big difference there.
Have you not played Hellblade? If not do it, do it now. It is a very good game and visuals are nice, especially Senua's char model. I have hopes for Hellblade 2 in every regard.
Yeah, first hellblade looks great, it doesn't do much though but it does look pretty awesome.
So amazing that it will again be candidate for best graphics when it gets XSX enhancements.
I'm guessing it's a lot easier pulling off those types of visuals when actual gameplay is so minimal. Great visuals, good "game" not so much. Hopefully the next game is more gameplay oriented and not another walk around and align dumb symbols in the environment type of thing.
I liked the puzzels. I also liked the combat. Doesn't have to be action action action to be a good game. It is a character/story driven game with a great atmosphere, voice artist, and a good story.
