What media features aside from hand gestures does the kinect provide that the PS eye cannot?.
Far more vast voice control
Auto-sign in with settings switched to your preference
IR array with the ability to control all your av devices
Calculation of muscle stress and expenditure
Heart rate sensing
Individual finger movements
Of the top of my head.
When the initial PS4 numbers came rolling in, I saw plenty people around here doing it. I was definitely among them.
I believe the Kinect can see which controller the user holds and during switching from user to user... There are plenty more though.
So, the definitive version of Tomb Raider is going to be native 1080p on XO and PS4?

Sweet. I never played the current gen version, but I saw the game in action at my buddy's place. Looked great. He was going through all the items and ability upgrades etc.... Not sure I can stomach $60 when the current gen game can be had for $20-30! lol Those bastards!

Not surprising to me in the least bit. Especially after Microsoft reversed all the policies on the Xbox One that gamers were slamming them for. At the end of the day the gamers on forums who are the most vocal only make up a small percentage of potential buyers.
There are millions of consumers out there that don't get caught up in the console wars and buy these consoles for what they're worth. Those people voice their opinions too at the end of the day and it looks like they have nothing but positive things to say about the One.

Kinda funny you disagreed with me and others over the capabilities of X1 when all the resolution stories came out claiming it wasn't important and how people don't care or notice, and now your cheering that the X1 has game that is 1080p.
For anyone who didn't play TR on 360/ps3 I would highly recommend picking this one up its a really good game with fantastic graphics to boot.

1080p of game that at higher settings is indeed next gen.
TR maxed on pc is next gen, so yeah, TR on next gen console will be next gen.
It does an amazing job of filtering out the sound from your speakers, so you can actually use it as a mic even with big speakers. On 360, if anyone used Kinect without using headphones, you had to mute them because of all the noise.
The new Kinect does a great job of only picking up the voice. I don't even need a gaming headset anymore.
Also when you watch a video like major nelson and make a voice command the kinect won't respond because of the Mic cancels the calls.
Far from it. But in true form, you like others want to down play 1080p on the XO and would rather pretend it cant happen or if it does, its not a big deal as long as we're speaking on the Xbox brand. If its on the Ps4, then its...ALI! BOOM-BI-YAY! ALI! BOOM-BI-YAY!!

No. Its just par for the course for Sony fanboys to downplay the XO when it can display 1080p in any game. My only point was that its certainly achievable. Whereas you lot would prefer to ignore it all together and shout about "more power" in the Ps4 through 1080p resolutions.

1080p isnt a big deal and its not important. However, it is an example that the XO CAN do it. Thats all. f*** all you guys are a sensitive lot.
Whats funny is that I never even brought up the Ps4 in my original post but it goes to show how sensitive some fanboys are. Relax about it mates. We get it. The XO has downgraded versions of certain games. I agree. But it still can perform at top resolutions. I could see if I weren't stating the facts and just myth making but thats not the case. Again, relax....

Ridiculous strawman trolling, nobody here said it can't run games at native 1080p. It just has a weaker GPU, small ESRAM relative to a 1080p framebuffer, and less ROPs to do it with, leading to bottlenecks and compromises.
