Yes you doBut you also don't have to sacrifice anything, you can build or buy a machine to your liking and needs.

Spider Man MM looks better than any non PS5 game.Cage counts, so does DiCarlo. It's also a fact that PS5 is the only console showing any ML capability right now with Miles new update that released a couple days ago. Pretty interesting since it was Xbox which is supposed to have the ML advantage. At least now we know that the PS5 can do ML as well.

The only resolution found on PS5 on version 1.000.004 was 3200x1800.
The UI is rendered at 3840x2160.
Average fps is now 56.07 fps instead of 59.96fps.
Wonder why no DRS like the XSX, hmm.

Xbox Series X is more suited to machine learning than PS5 says David Cage

Xbox Series X may have one additional advantage over Sony’s PlayStation 5 console: machine learning.
In an interview with WCCFTech, Quantic Dreams CEO David Cage revealed that the design of Microsoft’s Xbox Series X gives it the advantage in machine learning compared to the PlayStation 5.
Cage revealed that while the slightly better CPU and beefier GPU of the Xbox Series X gives Microsoft a slight edge over PS5, it’s really the machine learning capabilities of the Xbox console that may help it succeed against PlayStation’s faster SSD.
“The shader cores of the Xbox are also more suitable to machine learning, which could be an advantage if Microsoft succeeds in implementing an equivalent to Nvidia’s DLSS,” Cage explained.
However, the PlayStation-focused developer also explained that Sony has consistently punched up to deliver great looking games on not-so-powerful hardware in the past.
“I think that the pure analysis of the hardware shows an advantage for Microsoft, but experience tells us that hardware is only part of the equation: Sony showed in the past that their consoles could deliver the best-looking games because their architecture and software were usually very consistent and efficient.”
In a previous interview, Cage explained that he believes the split nature of Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S is confusing for consumers and developers.

Digital Foundry: Mortal Shell Enhanced Edition PS5/Xbox Series X/S - A Rival For PC's 4K60FPS?
Long may it continue. Anyone else worried that devs will start targeting 30fps again at some point? They already are. Ratchet is targeting 30fps but then offering a 60fps lower res/graphics settings option. And I'd predict that'll be the standard once next gen hits its stride. It won't be a...www.resetera.com

The Xbox Series X has one huge advantage over the PS5www.tomsguide.com
"The PS5 and the Xbox Series X have both been out for six months, and times have changed since November. After our initial PS5 review, I continued to play the system for a solid month — even though I liked the Xbox Series X better overall. I wondered when the pendulum would swing the other way, though, and I’d find myself immersed in Microsoft’s comprehensive ecosystem.
The answer, as it turned out, was “one month later.” Ever since late December, I’ve been absolutely glued to the Xbox Series X, letting my PS5 gather dust as I wait for the next big exclusive title. To be crystal clear, I like both systems. But at the moment, it’s much easier to find games to play on the Xbox Series X. The reason why is simple: Xbox Game Pass."
I agree because of the Series S. That guy there seems to basing it more on game pass but that has more hardcore appealResetera jumping on the Xbox bandwagon. Previously this was in favor of PlayStation.
A poll there about what console they would recommend to casual gamers, Xbox Series consoles has now garnered 43% of the vote, PlayStation just 27% and Nintendo 30%.

True. But it sounds like a step in the right direction.I agree because of the Series S. That guy there seems to basing it more on game pass but that has more hardcore appeal
Game Pass is going to gain a lot of casual appeal. You always start with the hardcore. Fortnite and COD started with the hardcore. What you're seeing with the sports games is the start of that. A large part of the casual gamer market is just regular consumers who don't take a lot of risks with their money. Netflix was once an enthusiast service and people didn't understand why casual viewers would ever subscribe to something when they already had cable and that audience clearly wasn't willing to buy DVDs, etc. You'll see the same here. Subscriptions blur that line...or I guess you could say they make enthusiasts out of casuals. Hardware is now bundled with Game Pass. It's $25 a month for console, games, online, and streaming all packaged together. It's an easy bite for mainstream.I agree because of the Series S. That guy there seems to basing it more on game pass but that has more hardcore appeal
And it's not the PS5 version.Ok, so I just read how Sony has secured Avengers for its PS Now service. On the one hand it showing that Sony is not standing still and letting MSFT run away with success without a fight. But ummmmm, I feel like Avengers is not the game to bring people over to their service. Its a nice try, but they need to try harder and secure better games.
