Is that a good trophy score?
I know what a good gamerscore is, but these trophy things I don't understand...
This is mine;

Maybe it's just because I'm in my late 40's but I never have paid attention to any of that stuff, I don't try to platinum games and I don't do things for trophies or achievements I just play the game. I don't know what a good gamer score would be or why it really even matters lol. My gamer score on xbox is 44,208 I skipped most of last gen on xbox until the One X came along and I just checked my trophies on PSN and it says 298.

Surprising to see PS5 having the consistent native 4k resolution as usually it's the other way around and this is also a Microsoft game.

The minimum frame rate drop comes from a cutscene and not gameplay part of the game. During gameplay, performance is very similar.

Before implementing DRS, the XSX also dropped to 30's in the same cutscene area.

VGtech: Skyrim Special Edition PS5 vs Xbox Series X vs Xbox Series S Frame Rate Comparison (Next-Gen Update)

PS5 renders at a native resolution of 3840x2160. Xbox Series X uses a dynamic resolution with the highest resolution found being 3840x2160 and the lowest resolution found being 2688x2160. Pixel counts at 2688x2160 seem to be rare and the resolution drops less often on Xbox Series X than on Xbox Series S. Xbox Series S uses a dynamic resolution with the highest resolution found being 2560x1440 and the lowest resolution found being 1792x1440. Pixel counts at 2560x1440 were only found to be sustained in less complex scenes such as dungeons.

It's pretty clear these are just the PS4 Pro and One X versions of the game with the framerate doubled, the PS4 Pro was always native 4K and the framerate would drop from time to time while the One X had variable res and kept a steadier framerate. Bethesda seems to have lied about any graphical enhancements for the new gen consoles, nobody that I've seen covering them has been able to see a single upgrade other than the framerate.

WHAT THE ACTUAL f*** HAPPENED IN HERE????

...this is why we can't have nice things wrapped as turds..

Admittedly yes...this thread is a turd wrapped in glistening foil.
We have all contributed to this turd though and it is a necessary evil.

Healthy disagreements in here gentleman. I don't mind if you poke fun every now and then at each other but if it gets too personal and If the name calling continues bans will be the next step and the thread will be closed.

Oh look. Valliance posts a list where PS wins.

I wouldn't even count as a win for anyone, pretty similar amount of columns, plus we don't know what the games are like now after updates, just tells us what we've known for a year, there's not much difference at all in multiplats.

Some of those are very questionable in terms of column placement as well, even assuming DF’s initial analysis.

Interesting... usually it's the One X that has higher resolution, no?

Yeah but with skyrim it was different, it was "enhanced" for PS4 Pro pretty much right when the Pro came out which was a year before the One X launched and they went with native 4K which was fine but when things got hectic and a lot of alpha effects etc were going on it'd drop 2-3fps. I'm guessing they didn't want to have performance problems with the One X so that's why they went with the variable res. I'm sure if Bethesda had put more effort into it both could have been native 4K with no drops at all and probably even had a few graphical upgrades but they clearly didn't want to spend the money on that so we got what we got lol.

Forespoken was already announced for PS5 and PC a long time ago, I don't get why anyone thinks this is news. It's a 2 year console exclusive but isn't a full exclusive.

I thought it was a one year console exclusive upon release, I think it was already announce for steam as well

No it's 2 years it says it at the end of the latest trailer.

It says at the bottom "also coming to PC, console exclusivity ends 2 years after launch"

As I've said before I can't think of any other forum that needs a topic like this in order to stop the main topics being ruined.

Pretty sure people don't even care about or play the actual game they are arguing about most of the time
