These screens you take are awesome. Love the ones with tornadoes in the water. So cool.

Just got this yesterday and played about 4 hours straight, game is fricking amazing! I'm glad i missed the last couple entries so i don't have the assassin fatigue that some experience. Just got my ship so i'm gonna go sailing and plundering and shantying!!

Oh and the game looks stunning on 360 i didn't know this ancient box could pull off graphics like that wow!

I've been meaning to go back to this to kill the Legendary ships.

That was about the last thing I did before I put down the game. Was a lot of fun, though. Even with all the upgrades, you still need to use strategy. Believe it or not, the hardest battle is not the one where you fight two ships at once. It's El Impoluto.

Was great taking down all of the legendary ships.
El Impoluto was the second Legendary ship I managed, but used much time to sink it. The Ram attack was the worst, was lucky a few times when managed to avoid being rammed.

Finished the game not too long ago.

I figured there would be quite a bit of strategy required. I did try one of them as soon as I fully upgraded the Jackdaw, but still got slaughtered.

El Impoluto is the one in the Northwest corner of the map. That was the one I did last, as you really need the fully-upgraded ram, mortars, cannon, heavy cannon and armor to stand a chance. And on top of all that, you still need to use strategy. XD It's not an easy battle, that's for certain.

I'll probably end up watching some guides on YT and get an idea of what to do. Most of the time I seemed to get outrun/out manoeuvred.

Some of the ships are just plain faster. There's no avoiding that. El Impoluto rams you all the time, so the way to minimize damage is for you to also ram it. Head-on collision. Then as you're passing by, just use a round of heavy shot then swivel guns, and the rest of the time just bombard it with mortars. It might be close, but as long as you don't let it ram you broadside or do too much damage with its cannon, the fight is winnable.

If I hate AC games but love pirates and open world sandboxes...will I like Black Flag?

I'm confident that you'll like Black Flag. I liked the first AC and finished it, same with Black Flag. The rest of the games, I couldn't finish because they were just boring.

I recently got back into this game and its really fun. I still don't like the way too easy on-foot combat but the naval stuff is awesome. I really like patrolling the seas in search of ships to plunder to upgrade my ship. And laying waste to forts to take them over is a lot of fun.

I have the PS4 version and this game is quite beautiful. When you're at sea during a storm as lightning streaks across the sky and the ship rolls with the waves its truly a spectacular sight. And I haven't noticed any framerate dips at all.

Dude, waterspouts in that game freak me out. The most ridiculous thing I saw was during a fort battle that happened to take place during a storm. A waterspout formed and just kept circling the island tne fort was on, like it was some kind of defensive weapon. XD

I don't think it was a freak occurance, either. Because every time I played that fort battle, the same thing happened.

I had a water spout form as I did battle against two frigates and it disabled them making it easy for me to take them over and add them to my fleet. I've been hooked on upgrading my ship. I found a couple of spots where ships always have wood & metal which are essential for upgrading. And the hunter ships always have upgrade materials so I leave my wanted level high so they continue to show up.

Its fair to say I like the pirate stuff a lot more than the assassin stuff. You have a lot more freedom during the pirate stuff and the combat is fun. The assassin game play can be fun in spots but overall the combat is just too simple and hate how the enemies wait to be slaughtered. I wish these guys took some lessons from the Batman games on how to do fun crowd combat. Still, this is a fun game.

Game is coming for free with my graphics card in my new PC. Excited to play it.
