Official Thread Bloodborne

Finished the game. Automatically started NG+ and I can already safely say that thing's are going to be even harder this time around.

I'll just take my time. See what's up! But excellent game overall. Really hooks you in.

I'm assuming in NG+ You cannot join players who are on their first playtrhough. Or can you?

Had an epiphany tonight. Now level 18 and beat the 1st boss my first try. It's weird, but the game just started clicking and I feel much more in control.
That's how it goes. Before you know it you'll be playing for hours on end! It just keeps getting better and better.

Just don't risk losing your blood echoes. Especially if you know the enemies in the area you're in are tough. And don't be afraid to use your Beckoning bell for assistance!

Tried co-op, but disconnected all the time.
Finished 3 of the bosses with my new character.

And Cathedral ward boss was easier this time around, as did not need to do it co-op
used flamesprayer at start of the fight, then used axe on her legs, last part of the fight Vicar Amelia was trying only to heal herself sow I just kept attacking

The game looks really fun, though, I have no idea what's going on. Is it a Dark Souls' type game? I watched a bit of someone's Twitch stream the other night and it seemed pretty brutal. It look purdy too.

Fundamentally a Souls game, but the combat is much more fluid, faster, and more aggressively focused. To me it feels like a mash-up of Demons Souls, Monster Hunter, and Resident Evil.

I am at level 37 now, only faced two bosses so far but beat them both on the first try. It's funny how frustrating this game is until you figure out the proper techniques to beating some of the tougher characters.

Run me threw how to post my PS4 pics in 1080p again

The way I do it is when on twitter I go to my pics then I right click on the pic I'm going to put up and click view image, once that's up go to the address bar and take out the end of the line where it says "large" and replace it with "orig" does that make sense? sorry if I didn't explain it clearly.

Tried like 10 times to beat
Martyr Logarius
. Finally got him on the next try. Parry with the pistol seemed to be what worked best.

I just beat the game. Over all the difficulty wasn't that bad. I died far more from the common enemies then the boss battles, I think only 2 gave me trouble.
It was amazing overall though, such an engrossing experiance! Can't recommend it enough.

Sigh, couldn't find this game anywhere. I checked online & cannot get any new if it has been released here (supposedly on 25 March). Oh well....

Encountered a new Beast today, missed him first time was playing, took a lot to bring him down, poison knifes, heavy attacks and bullets:

Did you find all the extra areas/bosses?

Nope. :) Next time. I just kind of played at my own pace and avoided spoilers. I didn't even know there were extra bosses! I loved the atmosphere and gameplay and just soaked it in. I'm so incredibly glad that I didn't skip it.
Plus it made me enjoy the souls games! Playing it I realized what I was doing wrong in those games so it has effectively opened up an entire genre for me. EASILY my favorite current Gen exclusive.

Yeah the game is a masterpiece.
What level are you starting the 2nd quest?
Its very hard but is eased somewhat with being higher leveled.

I ended at 94. I enjoyed the combat so much that I would continuously replay areas. I was at 50 for Rom and then I kinda veered off course for a day or so and leveled 40 higher in a short time. There aren't many games that I would start at the first area and just work my way through to the end continuously. I'm surprised at how much I missed because I felt like I was thorough.

The game grabbed me much like the first Ninja Gaiden on Xbox. Totally different play styles but something about it is very special. This hasn't happened to me in s long time.

NG XB used to be my fav with that special rare feel until Demons Souls and it carried on to DS,DS2 and BB :)
That's why I'm so excited, now I have all if those to play through. I was always a bit sad that they didn't click with me. My biggest problem was that I only used heavy attacks. I think it is because of the size of the rb button the Xbox controller. That little change in play style fixed everything for me. In Bloodborne I mainly used the light attack and it works. I transferred this to Souls and did a hundred times better.

This time I got the Byrgenwerth Boss on my first try with my new character, had leveled up to level 55 and have much resistance.

I almost walked out of Best Buy with the game today, but was torn between it and MLB the Show.

The days of buying two games at the same time are over for me. Plus, I spent a bit of money re-sanding my hardwood floors. Fukcing priorities.
