Looks like they really didn't send any console review copies out, even for next gen consoles, only PC.

"Typically, game developers send early copies of new titles to reviewers with months of lead time. But CD Projekt Red kept Cyberpunk 2077 under wraps for as long as it could. The company only shared advance copies of the PC version with gaming publications and news organizations, previewing the best possible version of Cyberpunk to reviewers who would post their ratings online just days before the game’s release.

For months, reviewers, including those at The New York Times, tried to obtain review copies for the new game consoles released by Sony and Microsoft this year. Stephanie Bayer, a spokeswoman for CD Projekt Red, said in a previous email correspondence that the company would “hold off sending our console codes until close to launch” so that they could “send them securely.” That never happened."

Finished the game yesterday, played on pc, spent over 50 hours on it ha ha, did a lot of the side quests

I'm 50+ hours in, just at the beginning of Act 2. My street level is maxed at 50, and I'm at level 33. I should really start doing main missions lol.

I'm maybe 12 hours in and just started panam. I've just been doing sidequests as I see them when doing main. No side missions have really stood out to me so far, any suggestions?

Can't wait until after Wednesday when I have off until after new years, get a lot more time to play.

I am about 47 hours. Once I am done with the decent side quest, I will wrap things up in the main mission.
Out of curiosity, at what level did you start the point of no return? I just want to see if I am ready. I am level 25 now.

Think around level 30 something, then I very much had done all that I did feel was important of side missions and had gotten me the best Gorilla arms

I guess the new patch improved the look of film grain and chromatic aberration on consoles, going to have to test that out. Also some changes to HDR. Will probably still look better in SDR, but worth checking out I guess.

Yeah, pretty big improvements on console to my eyes. I'm leaving all the settings (including HDR) on now, ith the except for motion blur. Looking really nice now in graphics mode on XSX.

I got the 1.05 "fix", Fix nope of the main bugs I have. Stil can't finish QUeen of the highway & presumably following mission with Panam. Still, Saul show up on a phone call like a zombie.

Out of curiosity, do anyone actually buy cars & bikes? The Cyberwares are so expensive & money are so hard to come by, that buying cars seems a luxury that I just can't afford. Also, there is literally no reason to get a car other than aesthetic.

Also driving is awful in this game.

Got my refund from MS real quick.

I'll double back some day and play again when things aren't so crazy.

Money is easy to come by. One thing to do is craft green weapons and sell them. I haven't put many skill points into crafting but I can generally craft a green sniper worth about 800 to sell. Usually craft around 10 at a time. Easy.

Interesting trick, I will try. Thanks.

With the 1.05, the performance seems to improve & I am no longer bald when looking in the mirror.

After about 50 hours, a tip for side missions:
The better ones are usually ones involving Main NPCs like Judy, David, Panam etc & absolutely do any mission involving Johnny Silverhand. Damn, I hate the AI TAxi missions & I only did them so Daimein will shut the FK up every time I am in an area near a rogue AI Taxi.

What is your overall opinion of the game.
Well was some bugs, think that I did pick good by going for the pc version, but was at least one place I got stuck and had to look up how to be able to get past that section because well it would not trigger the next part (sometime that I figured out was because of some time issues of all things), I liked however most of the game.
Story was really the big thing the game had going for it, really liked that and the characters.
Game was very good, the bugs however was hard to ignore at some places, could have been one of the best games this year in my opinion if they had taken the time to fix bugs.

That's encouraging to hear. I'm looking forward to picking up the PS5 version based on that. Just need confirmation they are actively fixing the issues.

-My car was repaired...I order my car to pull up and it's the smashed version from before.
-I need to smash a window to get into a shed and climb through. The window doesn't break properly. I manage to climb through and I'm teleported 200 meters away into the wasteland.

Maxing out the Advance Datamine perk in the breech protocol tree and hacking every terminal you find gets you a minimum of around 750 credits each time, plus rare hacking materials. If you go for the most difficult datamine, you get the more credits. I can sometimes get 1200-1500 credits on one terminal. I like it for making money so much I also threw a perk into Extend Network INterface which highlights nearby terminals for you so you don't miss them. Most every combat area has at least one of these terminals in a sneaky place, some have several. I feel like I'm making money pretty fast doing the relatively quick and easy minigame.

So now there are law firms in both the U.S & Poland that are looking into suing CDPR over misleading statements made to investors prior to launch. Damn, the hits just keep on coming.

The stock is almost 40% down from Dec.4 says it all.

Having said that, lots of stocks get sued every day and the company just carries on like business as usual. Just ask Apple. Lawsuits after lawsuits, yet the stock is bullish as ever.

Do we really need a class action lawsuit if they are willing to refund the game? I guess I have been pretty traumatized by this whole experience... 🤔

Its not the consumers that would be suing, it would be the investors. In their opinion, CDPR straight up lied to them in financial meetings and led to "misrepresented itself to investors in order to secure funding." It's one thing to lie to consumers but a whole 'nother to lie to investors. And considering how much their stock market value took a hit within the last few weeks, I can imagine some investors are not pleased.

I personally don't think that the investors will win if they sue but who knows.
