Word around the campfire is that not only is DN ready for release...Sony will make a flash release announcment in less than 4 days...The game will be free to all +members to boot!

Also.Tomb Raider is PS3 game of the month.

UPDATE

Game will launch free on PS+ in Asia next week.

EU and U.S. launch and further details will come later today.

Never played dead nation or tomb raider before, will be downloading for sure.

Oh okay. I did have a PSN account but no PS+ until recently.

Nah, I got my PS3 back in January 2007, it was the phat 60GB version. I just didn't join PS+ until I got my PS4, haha.

You would have been eligible for it then - Dead Nation was made free as a result of the PSN hacking/outage. That was May '11. Didn't have to have PS+ (I only got Plus in Sep '12).
 
They need to seriously make a part 2 for Dead Nation. The amount of detail in the game is incredible.

I heard this was coming to the Vita also. I think I did.

Definitely needs a sequel.

It will be absolutely amazing on Vita. Having Dead Nation on the go = massive win.

Ah, I think I was on a gaming hiatus around that time. Didn't really catch up with the gaming news then.
 
Makes one wonder what else Sony has up their sleeves, I didn't see this coming. :hehe:
 
So what kind of game is it? Is it like co-op Dead Rising type of game? or Left 4 Dead?

There is no Killzone co-op.....The Cake is a Lie.

But seriously, Dead Nation will probably drop before we get the Killzone co-op mode.

@ DriedMangoes, Dead Nation is a awesome top down shooter against a horde of zombies. You get money for kills that can be used for acquiring and upgrading weapons as well as getting new armor. It also features two player co-op. I have no idea what enhancements or improvements will come with the PS4 version but you can bet it won't be a straight port and offer something new for the new console.

correction armor can only be found in hidden caches
