Ahh thanks guys, looks like I jumped the gun in checking for the game so early. I left my PS4 in stand-by mode today in the hopes that it will download and/or update this game on its own. I'm not sure if the update process applies to Plus games but I thought this was the perfect opportunity to test this out. No biggie if I have to download it myself. Its been so long since playing this game that it will feel like a new title when I get my hands on it tonight.
Apparently this month's great gaming starts and ends with a Sony title. Starts out with Dead Nation and ends with Infamous. Coincidence.......I think not!!!!

I don't think it'll download on its own unless you prompt it to. If you're online when it goes live, access the store, add the game to your cart, and "buy it." You can then add it to your downloads and, if you PS4 is in standby, it should download it.
Exactly, I do this all the time at work. If you leave your system in standby, anything you buy and add into your que for the PS4 will download and install automatically. Nice to come home from work, turn the system on and have games ready to play.
I just downloaded the PS app to my phone so now I'm good to go. All I need is this game to release so I can send it to my PS4 for downloading, just checked the store again and its still not up yet. Late afternoon or early evening seems like a weird time to update their store with new content but whatevers as long as I get the game.
Second Assault was up early this morning. I don't get why they have certain things that mimic Xbox / PC release times, and others that retain that stupid PS3 "evening" schedule.
I did not know that. I know the KZ maps weren't, since I checked for them. I don't understand how they update, either.

No charge here. Once you go to your cart and check out you'll see the price due is $0.
For some reason I don't see the Killzone maps on the store app. Ohh well, got what I wanted and sent it to my PS4 for downloading.
Weird, it shows $15 in my cart still.
Search based on PS4 and "new" and you should see the maps. They're free, don't know why they didn't just include them as a forced update.
It said the price for me as well and I took the chance to checkout figuring if it charged me it would be a simple matter to call Sony and be refunded. But once it did its thing the price was gone. I think it has to confirm PSN status before telling you its free.
Thanks, just found the map pack. Its queued up for download right after Dead Nation. Now all I need is for the hours to fly by so I can get out work.

Phone app doesn't work for me. I can add the game but I get through the whole thing and it still wants to put money into the wallet. Not worth it.
I'd reach out to Sony. You should be able to get that refunded being a Plus member. It popped up that it was a Plus game for me, saying I wouldn't be able to play it if I wasn't a member, but it wanted the funds anyway.
