I was referring to visuals.
It may have been the best looking OG Xbox game of all.
I didn't like it either, from a gameplay perspective (as much as the other Halo's).
Lets face face it, 99% of the people griping in this thread, and other places around the interweb are still going to buy the game, if only because there isn't much else coming this year. All the really awesome looking games have slipped to 2015. Not to mention, its not as though we've seen much about the actual campaign, or story of the game. All we've seen are side activities. E3 starts today, so lets see what the real meat of this game is like.
It could just be that everyone is bitching about nothing, which...is kinda how most gamers are. It wouldn't be the first time that a game looked meh in videos, but was fun to play when you got an actual controller in your hand. Wolfenstein is a recent example of this. I thought "meh, more id tech crap, I know how this game is gonna play from the clips ive seen" Then I ended up being surprised and absolutely loving the game. Everyone needs to slow their roll on the criticism.

So if we can not criticise, then we can not praise. What would be the point of the thread or even the forum. We talk, bitch, and praise based on what ever evidence we have at any given time. Right now, it points to this being a mediocre boring piece of trash. Maybe that opinion will change by the end of the week, maybe it wont.
I seriously doubt they can change my mind. I do not like Halo and I do not like Borderlands, and this seems like a mix of both.
I don't know about peaking with H2, H3 was pretty damn awesome for its time. I'd say H3 is where the series peaked.
I thought Halo Reach was the best work by Bungie by far.
Reach was awesome too, I just thought that H3 was awesome looking when I first played it. Reach was great looking too, though not the leap in visual quality that H2 was from CE and that H3 was from H2.
Hey, at least you can get a semi accurate bearing whether your going to like the game or not
nopes now pro-order off Amazon and get your beta code homes then cancel your order.
I believe that's the PS4 beta date too, don't think they've announced the XB1 date yet.
