Have you played it since launch. They have change and improved the game quite a bit.
Also getting PS4 version since that's all I have.
I never bothered to research the complaints a lot of PC players had about this game in the early goings. what was the major issue with it? my friend and I have been enjoying the hell out of Neverwinter for the last couple weeks so I'm really looking forward to this.

Some impressions from anyone who bought it on either console?

I think one of the biggest complaints was that people expected it to be like Skyrim in an MMO setting, but it was more like.....other MMOs.

It's a good MMO, and certainly better than Neverwinter. Just go into it expecting it to be more MMO and less Skyrim/Oblivion.

Here are some of the complaints over at Amazon......this will give you an idea of how gamers were too dumb to understand what an MMO is:

1. The game was too much like an MMO, not like Skyrim
2. (this one is word for word what someone said, lol): I would give this game five stars but there is no single-player at all. Skyrim was the best game ever but Bethesda forgot to put a campaign in which is a massive loss.
3. (another word for word 1 star review): Its nothing like skyrim
4. this is a lot like other games like warcraft but it incorporates some classic elder scrolls features (well, duhhhh, it's an MMO)
5. If you like quests this is the game for you. If you like more quests, this game is really for you. If you like nothing but quests you might make it to the max veteran rank. If you dont like quests that much you will burn out just like I did 1 month after the game launched. There is no end game, the only way to level up is quests. So have fun. (yeah, ummmm, like every other MMO, because, you know...it's an MMO).
6. I especially love this 1 star negative review from a year ago......"I wasted my money on the wrong one, i thought i bought the one for PS4 but this one is for PC. Learn how to advertise better gosh. Who plays games on a computer anyways?" (I can't believe how incredibly stupid they are, considering that it wasn't announced for consoles until this year, and the game on the amazon site clearly says for PC)

Thanks man. very good points. I just didn't know after all the time that has passed if they made improvements to it or corrected any issues since it was released on PC. will be curious to hear some player feedback/impression's from the guys here.

Sorry I didn't answer don't know the specifics just know they have tweaked a lot and added the justice system and other stuff.

I hate to say it but Elder Scrolls Online is basically the poor man's console MMO. If Microsoft would just wake up and get FFXIV on the One nobody would play this game. PS4 gamers know what's up with the pinnacle of MMOs.

Nah, I'd much rather play ESO, though FF is and will continue to be better supported.

Well, going in I was expecting it would be a mess being launch day and all.......

Aside from the LAG, I only had a few problems. Some may have been due to lag but I can't say for certain. This is my first MMO so I'm not sure how far lag's aweful grasp can reach in these types of games.

When searching items (crates, urns, etc.) sometimes I would press A and nothing would happen. This would also happen whenever I would try to go into sneak mode. I'd click down on the stick but nothing would happen. It seemed that combat was hit and miss. I could stand in front of an enemy and swing my sword like a madman but it would take no damage.

I did get booted a couple times, but didn't have too much trouble reconnecting. In the time I spent playing, I really enjoyed the game (when it would work properly). I just think that I probably should have held off a couple weeks before buying.

I got no lag and it's funny because I been playing on Euro servers. I did have issues logging into NA servers hence me making a European account.
I don't know if I can transfer my account to NA servers or how to do this?

Wait a minute you got ESO. I though stuff like that is not your type of game.

I have order the game and waiting for it to come but I got a feeling I am going to be trading this in at some point in the next month. Even though I haven't played it yet.

Don't like Dragon Age etc but I like MP games... join the dagger group and we can team up

It's laggy on the PC side too. I guess they are just hammered with players across the board right now. A good problem to have but they need to respond quickly.

Will take a while to hammer out the lag...... The que is insane now but better than the login fails I guess.pvp is friggen epic.....if they fix the lag this game will be huge for a long time.

Can you trade the game in? Most MMO's I've had in the past, have been cd key/id locked once activated. You couldn't trade them.

If you can, I am sooooo picking this up second hand! :p

Sucks that there are already long cues. Guess they didn't want to over invest in servers.

With ESO & W3, I am in RPG heaven.
W3 for my single player fix and ESO so me and my son can play together!
Played ESO on Mac and loved it but now it's F2P and on console, imho it's even better!

Looks and plays great! We played a few hours yesterday and had a blast.
Made a brand new character with him yesterday but was happy to transfer my level 45 night blade over, although took me a while to get to grips with him as forgot how to use my abilities etc lol

So nice to be playing this sat on my couch.

I'm enjoying the game so far, sure its not Skyrim but definitely has the Elder Scrolls vibe. My only complaint is the lag at the moment.

Really enjoying the game. There are moments of frustration but it hasn't taken away my enjoyment of the game.

How do you join a clan?
