So this topic is for the English users. Voting tomorrow for if we should stay or leave Europe.

At the moment I'm still going with stay. The out campaigners haven't really given a good reason to leave and simply keep shouting the same stuff over and over while the in crowd actually give reasons for wanting to stay.

What difference does it make when you still have morons in charge.

Vote out! Abandon the sinking ship when you can !!!

Vote IN, unless you want a nation of in-breds. I welcome diversification of our gene pool from the continent. Do you really want to go back to this?

You know you are free to go either side of the border right? Just that you have to do it with a passport. Being indepence, you can conteol your laws better.

You are not force to accept terms from the jokers of EU, just the jokers in UK.

I think the easy solution politics being peddled by the rising Right in Europe and the U.K. can be a very dangerous thing. Rational debate seems to be gone and it's all about sound byte blurbs from the likes of Boris Johnson, who's only looking out for himself but masking it like he really cares about what happens to the UK. It's not unlike the rise of Trump in the US.

The whole situation is a farce. I don't even get why this referendum is even happening. If you look at the major points, economy, migration and Law, it seems impossible to get a straight answer on any of them.

Economy - The stay group is nothing but scare tactics, and the leave group just keep throwing up huge sums of saving that the stay group says are lies.

Migration - Since pretty much all MPs seem to be pro migration, having control over it likely wouldn't change anything.

Laws - Even if not in the EU our laws will still be based on them. And this is another point where percetage of UK laws from the EU fluctuate massively. One side says 7/14% and the other says 75%.

How in the f*** is anybody supposed to make a quality, informed decision?

I saw one lady on TV say she is voting to stay because her brother lives in Spain. I mean WTF! I saw one bloke say he was voting leave because migrants undercut British workers and take our jobs, but with pro migration MPs this is going to continue anyway.

My only issue with being in EU is that we elect a prime Minister to govern our country and make decisions that are best for it, but being in the EU gives too much control to parties who we didn't elect and that don't have the best interest of our country as a main priority.

All I know is you guys not only let an American on Top Gear, but he's not even the worst host, by far!

Think about, if you vote leave, if it do not turn out well, then join EU again!!! Nothing to lose.

If you vote in, this may be the last chance you get. This kind of voting do not happened often. How I wish we have this here too.

Immigration seems to be a hot topic for the leave campaign... but here are the facts. Laurence Taylor took out a full page ad in Metro newspaper today to make a brilliant point about the EU referendum, because he’s thoroughly bored of all things Brexit.

Fed up of all things Brexit. Posts a statistic about Brexit like everybody else.

I voted to stay

That said that chart above is as misleading as is the anti immigration stance. The problem with taking so many is that they have to be housed, and that happens in areas with cheap accommodation, so that 0.5% statistic becomes 5% or more in the poorer areas of the country that disproportionately take the most.

I'd be surprised if a man who can afford a page like that on a whim lives in one of those areas.

I find this whole thing very fascinating tbh.

Your last comment here is why in my heart I'd have to vote leave.

The UK is already a collection of countries from what I understand, why would you want to be under another umbrella of politics dictating what you can or can't do?

I would always side with the idea of independence for my country. But I really don't understand the whole thing if I'm being honest.

One thing I noticed tonight though is Scotland is heavily in favour of "remain" are they getting ready for another referendum of their own to leave the UK and join the EU?

Well if it goes south for you guys maybe you can move your island over here close to use. It can be a land dedicated to giving us villains and intelligent sounding people for our movies.

A sad day, I hope we can make changes for the better, but I have so many fears about employment law and protections, it seems the poorer areas voted out and they I think will be the ones hardest hit by any negatives that come from this.

The poor always pay the biggest price anyway.

Yeah, interesting result. I thought Remain would have edged it in but I was watching the markets last night and Sterling was dropping significantly, indicating the Leave was looking likely. I wonder what will happen Northern Ireland, who strongly voted to remain? I see Sinn Fein are already calling for a Border poll. SDP will no doubt be looking for a second Scottish independence vote now as well.

Yep. As far as I can tell Northern Ireland, London and Scotland were the big/only remain voters.

I also see places like France and Netherlands are starting tomake noises for their own exit referendum.

Yeah, the National Front in France were always going to call for that once the UK left. If France or Germany leave now that's the end of the hole thing.

And Cameron has resigned. I don't think history will look to favorably on him in the years to come.

Anybody down about the result can find their silver lining in Cameron's resignation

Most of the comments I've been reading seem to show that the younger people wanted to stay and the older generations were more apt to vote to leave. I don't know if that's a true representation of what happened overall it's just what I've observed from looking around a bit.

Twitter is a fun place to be right now.

I did see stats prior to the actual vote that suggested as much. It seemed people aged 18-24 wanted to stay. While people over 50 wanted to leave.
