Europe - In or Out

The least trustworthy people on the planet are politicians. They'll say anything to get votes. And most big promises are broken or scaled back. I find it amazing how some people are so ingrained in politics like it's a second job, as people debating issues are often debating things that won't really happen anyway.

Just to give you an idea, how often does the government promise major initiatives within budget and within time? Almost never. It's usually overspent and/or late.

So it shows:

A. They have no idea what they are doing
B. They know exactly what's going on from the get go, but faked it to mislead voters
C. Things go sour, and they have no balls to get things in line

I'd rather trust a car salesman.

That's because you are not forced to buy from them, and there are so many dealers to choose from, you'll get good dealers and manufacturers warranties to fix up any issues.

In politics, it's usually down to a handful of parties, there are no refunds, they backtrack on what they say, and when they are in power you can't really get rid of them until the next election.

Have you seen one of those Live House of Lords programmes? Firs time I saw one is when I first realized that voting for any politician for Prime Minister was totally pointless.

I still can't believe this was put to a popular vote. There is a constant push for people to vote, but not voting is better than an uninformed vote.
