I like the world a lot more in terms of its varied environments and world story telling. I felt lie FO4 felt very samey and uninteresting. In this game, I'm always curious what's around the corner. I just could care less in FO4.
What is the player count per server?
Wow, this game is tanking in the reviews. Currently sitting at a metacritic of 50, after 20 reviews. I'm sure more reviews will roll in over time, and that score should rise somewhat, but still. Ouch.

I'm assuming the reason for not just putting you in another game if your base is on another base is because the probability of a small number of players in the beginning, fear of players being alone in game I guess. Would think they'll fix this when they see enough players occupying the servers... if people will buy this after the s***ty reviews lol. I'm intrigued though, and I'd prob already have bought this if it wasn't for me not finished rdr2 and odyssey yet.Yeah is getting hard reviews. Some are justified with solid points, other are absolutely nothing more than vitriolic comments that sound like they come from people with a grudge against Bethesda.
I've put about 30 hours in now and I'd give it a solid 6.5 or 7 out of 10. Its one of those games where if you watch some streams of it and read some decent opinion pieces on it, then will know exactly what you are getting yourself into. Personally, I'm really enjoying it. I hope they can deliver on some improvements quickly though. Having your base disappear because it put you in a server where your base and another players share the same area is very frustrating. I love building my base up. I don't want to start from scratch because it couldn't load mine into a server it put me in. Inventory space is another limitation they need to fix. For a game about collecting junk to build into weapons, armor, bases, etc, it has a shockingly low player inventory count. They have said their looking at this.

he main issue I am seeing is that, while there are exceptions, most people are stupidly annoying or outright douches. Some dude followed me around the other night just pestering me for half an hour. Not only is it annoying, but any sense of immersion you had is immediately dispelled
..
Anyone playing this on PC? Decided to grab this for myself and a friend for $30 each. Figured I paid $20 for Fallout 4 GOTY and put like 130 hours into it, so if this turns out to be a dud and I don't hit my dollar per hour on the game it's not a huge loss. Win some and lose some.
I've been having fun with it, however, there are so many freaking bugs and network issues.
The fact that they have the gall to charge 2 dollars for a f***ing plant, or 3 dollars for a door that SHOULD BE IN THE GAME is insane. 200 dollars for a bug-ridden, recycled mess, and at the end you "Get" spend real world dollars for garbage?
Can you earn the door and flowers without microtransactions?

This game is a shameless, greedy cash-grab and shouldn't be supported by anyone. I say this as someone who doesn't mind extra revenue streams, but this is insane and nowhere near justifiable, imo.
