Which GT forums are we talking about? How is it relevant to the question? Please explain.
No matter what TF sold it doesn't change the Fact that over a million(and counting) sales for a new franchise is a GOOD thing
I'll explain this to then.
GT has/had a massive fan base, rivaling GTA and even surpassing halo at one point. You don't understand because you aren't a fan its probably "just some racing game". However many of connect to that to the roots of being an early PS1 gamer.
The fans want a new GT game. We could be a year away from announcement, much less a release and GT has a ton of fans, but lets make them wait for mediocre stuff.
I'm trying to lean towards the PS4 right now because it needs some love but it's tough with Rare Replay out and Gears Ultimate Edition coming. Could be another double switch coming soon. Stay tuned.
I used to play GT back in the day and I haven't in awhile. Its not relevant.
Also thats not an answer. If a new GT comes out and is the greatest racing game ever and sells 10 million unins then it is probably a failure because it didn't sell 15. I think there is a big desire for a new GT but there is also a desire for lots and lots of games. I don't disagree that PS4 needs games that sell but you haven't explained why it needs games to sell as well as Halo. What will happen if they don't? Is your enjoyment of the system tied up into whether that happens?
What the systems need are good games that are successful but what is successful for one isn't going to the same for another.

Most PS fans don't. But Xbox gamers do care.

Backwards compatibility would be important to PS fans if the PS3 had any good games. 
Did i do it right? Really though, anyone downplaying BC for the X1 is just grasping at straws. It's an awesome feature to have even if you still choose to hold onto your old consoles. If nothing else, it's a bullet point for Microsoft to sell the X1 to more people.

If game hit a million we probably would have heard but it is true that I was just using an assumption to make a point. So guilty as charged.

You're equating VR to the XBox One being able to play XBox 360 games?
I'm not particularly interested in VR either but it's obvious that's where technology is headed.
It'll be interesting to see player counts on those 360 games when BC goes into effect. Hopefully those statistics will be available.
It is not a BC title, but you never know what might show up in your list. Some games appeared that I never owned.

Hazard, don't take one of Vals invites. He has special invites where his preview updates weigh in at 2GB each. Mine roll in at a cool 250mb usually.

Motion controls were the future of gaming until this Gen too. Same as 3D movies
Its hard to tell whether or not VR has staying power. I think it will mostly be genre dependant.
I don't have BC yet on my Xbone, but I'm looking forward to it eventually. There are a lot of Games With Gold that I never played, and still haven't that keep getting released.
When I finally get it, hopefully there'll be a heap waiting for me, and the more the merrier!

No PS4 yet, there aren't any must have exclusives yet. I'm hoping UC4 is that game.
