Lets be real, there is illegal money/favor exchange with someone at FTC. I have no stock in either company, but its stink like corruption.

I heard a very good statement a while ago. And this pretty sum up most people.

If the referee make a bad call in football, only about half the people are upset.

Most people pretend to care about fairness. truth. They cried foul when its against someone they like, & look away, & justified when its the other way around.

Bringing up Insomniac and Spider-Man thing is just stupid and you know why lol. Insomniac is a developer not a publisher, they generally only made games for one platform at a time. PlayStation's Spider-Man is a new series of games paid for and published by Sony not a continuation of the Activision series. MS/Xbox could have made that themselves if someone there had been smart enough to take Marvel up on the offer and buy Insomniac themselves.

Sony has never bought a publisher so any comparison you make to a single development house is irrelevant, MS has bought a bunch too.

One of them will (if not already done) hype the coming exclusives and at the moment of release he'll skim the reviews and copy/paste the criticism on here while telling us how MS dropped the ball etc.

Yeah Sony bought studios with no owned IP that was worth a damn lol, MS bought plenty of studios too nobody is complaining about studios it's publishers that's very different. MS has more studios than Sony right now btw they have no need to own Activision, it's their lack of leadership that's holding them back. Someone needs to get those studios in order and have them start actually releasing games.

Sony buying Activision makes NO sense, you have to spend so much money just to buy the company and then pay for its continual operation. Making anything exclusive from them would be harmful to the business so why buy it in the first place? You aren't gaining anything new by doing it you just have the ability to take it away from others, the problem for Sony or Nintendo is they'd NEVER make enough money to make up for the losses if they did that.

MS can do that because they make so much money from Windows, Cloud and Office, they don't need xbox to make a dime, Sony NEEDS PlayStation for the health of the overall company. If Activision was letting going around trying to get better offers than the one from MS that wasn't going to happen, Activision is worth about 60% of what Sony is, that's far too big for a company like Sony to even entertain.

And if they could and did the defending would be "they have worked on and off with Activision for years. Activision own IPs that started on PS. It's not the same as MS buying them....."

They can't, MS can and Activision want them to buy.
They aren't being forced into it.

Funny, because the games all these studios have pushed out since they were bought led to MS having the highest rated portfolio of games . lol. Something Sony has never done by the way.

Sony buying Bungie makes no sense either then, and yet, they did. Even ignored them for the reason they claimed they bought them and ran to outside help instead. lol.

I can't wait until some good multiplat games come out so everyone will finally have something worth arguing about and insulting each other over again.

MS should keep COD MP for 11 years then say "see". Now f*** you.

But yeah. Wanting a game on more platforms than it currently is being seen as bad is still funny.
 
Sony did kinda drop the ball before, with marvel. They offered them the movie rights to every comic character they had, at the time, but they only went with Spider-Man, in 1998.

I’m still a firm believer that all devs should work and finish the console version first and then be given time to optimize and finish the pc ports.

Going off the few people who put $1500 GPU in their rig is not representative of PC gaming. Remember, according to steam surveys, the most popular GPU is A Nividia 1060. I have one of those, it doesn't compete.

Yep . Releasing on too many platforms simultaneously just automatically means patches galore coming up basically.

Like I just said, DF uses a CPU that costs the same as a whole XSX/PS5. Their GPU costs like $1800-$2000.

That is far cry from the 1060 we see as most popular on the largest PC platform, Steam. Even more modern mid range cards only just about manage 4K at 30FPS to 40FPS. The 1060 only does like 15FPS at 1080P. lol.

The DF set up is far beyond what 99% of PC gamers have. There for it isn't representative of PC gaming and what 99% of gamers experience.
