No that's not true, I don't like anyone taking multiplatform IP away from another player base. I always say I wish timed exclusive deals would stop being a thing.

It's not about being forced it's about pressing an unfair advantage and not competing in a fair way. There are reasons why the US and UK don't seem to be onboard with this right now and it's not because they like Jim Ryan or that Sony paid them off lol.

So, in essence, if you have an idea you must share it first so others can keep up otherwise you have a monopoly.

Not that this purchase gives MS a monopoly in any way shape or form, thus making one of the FTC's main points of contention an absolute joke.
 
Google which has monopoly on Search engine, video streaming etc worry about MS having unfair advantages.

Clown world. Funny how many member of congress has stock in google also, like Micheal jackson mom. Almost like its their interest not to call out big firm like google for their monopoly, & using it to crush its compeitions.

We know Top firm like 10cents are linked to CCP allowing them to crushing competition with kagaroo court support (you can read about it) from fair compeition in China.

Are people gulliable to believe there are no shinegigans/bribery happening between big films & the politicans in US & oither "civilise" countries?

When you say you want more gamers to have access to the games but then go around and make historically multiplatform games like ES 6 exclusive, kind of goes against what you say and shows the potential trend that may happen for other multiplatform games in Activision's library. 🤷‍♂️

Better off not saying that at all if you want the deal to go through and just sign 10 year deals or whichever.

That's why Spencer should just stop talking so much, "exclusives are bad" a month later "exclusives are the backbone of the industry" lol. Obviously, I'm paraphrasing but that's basically what he's said.

If that's accurate the amount of people willing to switch from PlayStation to Xbox is quite small, the best selling COD on PS4 was 14 million copies but there were over 117 million PS4's sold.

So you've basically got 20% of 14 million at best, and again that was the top selling one not the average sales number so that's less than 3 million people total who'd be willing to switch to another console for COD. In the grand scheme of things that's a fairly insignificant number of people. It wouldn't be worth MS buying Activision for COD even if they were to make it exclusive just to pick up 2.8 million more potential subscribers to game pass. I know there is more to A/B than just COD but that really is the biggest thing by far that they'd be getting for the console market.

“We are willing to offer Candy Crush to be on Android and iOS for the next 10 years. It makes no sense to make it a Gamepass Exclusive” - MS, in the near future.

If you want to talk about people shutting up then those are Sony. Their response to this has been nothing short of hysterical and downright pathetic.

Your point here doesn't even hold up. When did Mobile users have access to Skyrim? They do now. MS has already committed to putting COD on Nintendo and Keeping it on PC and Playstation. That = more access for more gamers. So, your point is about as ridiculous as Sony's childish crying.

Also, just to drive this home because you and the pony gang keep forgetting this, Mobile gamer numbers dwarf Playstation gamer numbers. All these games from these new purchases will be available to 10x the amount of gamers thanks to Xbox.

And Jinca carrying on with his nonsense by trying to act like these two comments are related. One is comment talking about how Phil sees gaming. The other is a comment on how console business is usually done.

But considering all the BS his Sony Masters have talked, you would think you would have enough to deal with and wouldn't be talking nonsense about a different platform.
