I am referring to the Halo 2 type of face lift.I think 1080p/60fps is a 'facelift'... so I think it's accurate to say they're all getting a facelift, but yeah, remastered/Anniversary caliber re-do is only for Halo 1 and Halo 2.
$60 is $30 to high for a collection of old games... Will get when its cheaper.
If it were a single-game remake, I'd agree. For example, TLOU is a complete rip-off at $60... heck, when it was new on PS3 it was a rip off at $60 (no MP).
But in the case of the MC collection:
4k gamer score.
4 titles, spanning well over a decade.
Completely remastered content for TWO of them
High grade technical improvements across the board (1080p/60fps)
Over 100 MP maps with 4 distinctly different flavors of MP code, hot-swappable, etc.
Dedicated servers for all
$60 is a bargain.

TLOU has MP. I agree about this collection though. Great value.
Only am expecting it because of the price.I'm fine with it, seems like a stupid crazy task to facelift 4 full games and then have a AAA title within the next year, probably of the biggest AAA titles as well.
I enjoyed it more then Halo 4 in every wayOh, that's right, it did... not very memorable MP, though.

When I do get it...its because of Halo 2 remastered aloneI'm thinking Orange Box in terms of total value for the purchase. I can't wait to play Halo 2 remastered...!!!

good pointswell, Tlou is $60 right? I don't see them updating much other than resolution and fps. Halo 2 is getting that AND new textures.
+3 more games, AND most people haven't played halo CE online, AND 100 maps, AND most have never played these games at 60fps. Seems like one hellva of a value, even for a below average halo fan.
Hell, Halo CE remake was $40 lol
So you get to play each title's MP as it was?
good points
My only worry is the number of players. I worry that basically 4 different MP games is going to splinter everyone.
Halo 2 will also have Forge
