Careful nowIt's even worse than I predicted.
Maybe since they have no games a price drop will help XSX?

Why would it get a price drop when you can barely get the thing in most countries? It's even worse than I predicted.

It could. The PS5 could use a rather large price drop. 12 > 9It's even worse than I predicted.

"Generations" From EDGE:
Interviewer: Obviously you still have a large userbase to cater to on PS4, but some will be concerned that that’s holding developers back from really making the most of the hardware. How do you balance those two things?
Jim Ryan: (...) We do feel that we have a responsibility to that very large community, and an opportunity to carry on making great PS4 games for as long as the need is there. And I think that is the right thing to do, it’s the rational thing to do, and I think you will see a tail with PS4 that you did not see with PS3. But that said, as time passes, you’re going to see more and more emphasis on PS5 development and the PS5 SKU will be the lead SKU.
But it does confirm that Sony operates just like MS, they are developing games from the TOP down.
Immortals: Fenyx Rising PS5 vs XS consoles
Seems like multiplatform devs are producing similar results for now.
PS5 has generally/more often higher dynamic resolutions in performance mode but they are close.
In quality mode ps5 is locked 4k where as xsx is still dynamic resolution and can go down to 1870p in some scenes .
Quick summary:
Performance mode :
PS5 in dynamic 4K (2275x1280p ~ 3840x2160p)
XSX in dynamic 4K (1920x1080p ~ 3840x2160p)
XSS in dynamic 1080p (1280x720p ~ 1920x1080p)
Quality mode :
PS5 in native 4K (3840x2160p)
XSX in dyanmic 4K (3328x1872p ~ 3840x2160p)
XSS in dynamic 1440p (1920x1080p ~ 2560x1440p)
Framerate Performance Mode :
PS5: 59.99fps on average (Max: 60fps / min: 59fps)
XSX: 59.97fps on average (Max: 60fps / min: 56fps)
XSS: 47.06fps on average (Max: 60fps / min: 30fps)
*The PS5 in Performance mode has a strange bug that causes stuttering but not related to the game framerate.
Framerate Quality Mode :
PS5: 30.00fps on average (Max: 30fps / min: 30fps)
XSX: 30.00fps on average (Max: 30fps / min: 30fps)
XSS: 29.99fps on average (Max: 30fps / min: 27fps)
A little tearing on XSX and XSS in quality mode.
"PS5 in Performance Mode currently has a bug that causes stuttering unrelated to the games frame rate.
PS5 in Performance Mode uses a dynamic resolution with the highest native resolution found being 3840x2160 and the lowest native resolution found being approximately 2275x1280. PS5 in Performance Mode rarely renders at a native resolution of 3840x2160.
Xbox Series X in Performance Mode uses a dynamic resolution with the highest native resolution found being 3840x2160 and the lowest native resolution found being 1920x1080. Xbox Series X in Performance Mode rarely renders at a native resolution of 3840x2160.
The scene at 0:46 was where the lowest resolution was found and this scene seems to render at a higher average resolution on PS5 in Performance Mode than Xbox Series X in Performance Mode. However, in other scenes the PS5 and Xbox Series X render at a similar resolution in Performance Mode, and in some cases the Xbox Series X can render at a higher resolution than PS5."
PS5 and Xbox Series X in Performance Mode use a form of temporal reconstruction to increase the resolution up to 3840x2160 when rendering natively below this resolution.
Xbox Series S in Performance Mode uses a dynamic resolution with the highest native resolution found being 1920x1080 and the lowest native resolution found being approximately 1280x720. Xbox Series S in Perforamnce Mode uses a form of temporal reconstruction to increase the resolution up to 1920x1080 when rendering natively below this resolution.
The only resolution found on PS5 in Quality Mode was 3840x2160.
Xbox Series X in Quality Mode uses a dynamic resolution with the highest native resolution found being 3840x2160 and the lowest native resolution found being approximately 3328x1872. Drops in resolution below 3840x2160 on Xbox Series X in Quality Mode seem to be uncommon.
Xbox Series S in Quality Mode uses a dynamic resolution with the highest native resolution found being 2560x1440 and the lowest native resolution found being 1920x1080. Xbox Series S in Quality Mode uses a form of temporal reconstruction to increase the resolution up to 2560x1440 when rendering natively below this resolution."
Performance chart : ps5 has slight advantage in performance on top of the resolution advantage

I see you struggle with simple concepts.
Yep. Seems to be similar issues for another open world game made by the same dev using the same tools releasing in the same release window.Isnt this another UBIsoft game? I'd bet its using the same engine as Ass Creed. All the metrics seem really similar

All those teraflops... smh
Like i said, let me get my magnifying glass
The start of this gen is definitely humbling a lot of Xbox fans that were shouting from the clouds about the teraflops difference.
Dev tools will get better for both consoles so will be interesting to see if Xbox will be gaining more advantage in the future.
It'll be far more interesting to see what first party does on each.
Dev tools will improve for both however the Xbox tool situation is a bit unique in that it's in transition. Has far more limitations because it's just not ready. Playstation's is more mature. Logically it should see larger improvement gains as a result.
People should have a good clue how these things will land with 3rd party by Fall of 2021. Battlefield is the game to watch.
Fanboys will fanboy. Most people will play where they prefer to play regardless of how the pendulum swings with performance.
Hopeful but wont set my expectations to high especially with XBO still being supported. It'll be far more interesting to see what first party does on each.

Its not what's under the hood that will hurt MS, it is the story that will continue to stack against MS.Sooooo Sony's console is superior again after two weeks of being out? Is that what's being said?
RDNA 2.5>RDNA 2
When the dust settles we will have a empty desert.
Nah im keeping mine for enhancements to my old games and the 2022 games.
PS5 is good for writing at 4K.I have no idea what those charts mean except higher the bar then the better.
Nothing of value was missed though, No real games you can't play with the current-gen consoles except Godfall which was horribly rated.Meanwhile in the real world, bots are grabbing up orders so fast that gamers can't even get their hands on a new console.
If you try to enter "xbox series x" or "playstation 5" in an Amazon search, it won't even take you to the console pages.
