Don't most games decrease in sales over time anyway? Maybe they see a spike over the first three months on GamePass and then drop off the remaining nine months.
Yes but if you combine that statement with what MS admitted earlier about cannibalization of sales... it all makes sense.

It's weird because on Amazon right now, the XSX is way ahead of the XSS on the best sellers page. Opposite in Japan. Smaller Xbox for smaller people with smaller hands and smaller weiners?
It may depend on the game and its location….when fh4 and fh5 were realesed it was a top seller in the uk market, despite their base and it’s release on GP.
Sometimes a game doesn’t need to be good to sell, just a good reputation/history, like Pokémon S/V
