Hopefully you didn’t run through someone’s girlfriend…Game was great... For 45 min until I came to a level that seemed to demand Einsteins brain with A-trains reflexes.
To be fair the Series X sells just about every unit they make just like the PS5 does, the Series S on the other hand is starting to become easier to find especially in Europe. Once these supply problems go away it'll be interesting to see how sales go, I predict PS5 will still have a large overall lead in sales globally and that NA will be a little closer than last gen with PS5 still on top.So Xbox is half PS5 sales, so just like last gen.

We don't know how much they get from putting their title on GP could be more could be less then possible sales.
Don't they get a set amount upfront then depending on how many users play on GP, they get more?
LOL GPHades split - 93% PS platform, 7% Xbox platform. That GP doing work.
Mario Kart 8, Grand Theft Auto 5 and Minecraft return to the top | UK Boxed Charts
In the summer months, as video game sales slow and new releases are few and far between, sometimes the charts -- partic…www.gamesindustry.biz
This week is one of those, with the three biggest games being Mario Kart 8: Deluxe, Grand Theft Auto 5 and Minecraft (Switch). Which are all games that were first released a generation ago on other platforms (2014 for Mario Kart, 2013 for GTA and 2011 for Minecraft).
Of course, all three of those games have been mainstays in the Top Ten for years, particularly since they launched on more modern hardware. Mario Kart 8: Deluxe is back at No.1 after a 6% sales increase week-on-week, GTA 5 climbs five places to No.2 after a 44% sales jump, while Minecraft is at No.3 following a 17% sales leap.
Rounding off the Top Five is the official Olympics game from Sega at No.4 (sales down 5%) and Animal Crossing: New Horizons at No.5 (sales flat week-on-week).
Last week's No.1, F1 2021, falls five places to No.6 after a 34% sales drop.
New to the charts this week is Hades, which lands at No.8 thanks to the game's launch on PlayStation and Xbox platforms. With the box release handled by Private Division, 70% of the game's launch sales were on PS5, 23% on PS4 and 7% on Xbox Series. Of course, many Xbox games will be able to access the game via the Game Pass subscription service, and that data is not counted here.
A few more PS5 consoles were released last week into the market, which sees Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart return to the Top 40 at No.10 with a 313% sales rise. Other games to benefit from the new PS5 stock includes Resident Evil Village at No.11 (sales up 151%) and Spider-Man: Miles Morales at No.12 (sales up 101%).
LOL GP
I know these sales threads will never be the same.
Yea I think that's how they do it, they might pay more upfront for a popular game like Hades, then it'll be a however many play the game.
I think for most cases, a game been on GP probably won't paint a pretty picture sales wise, but could make it back on whatever they get paid plus micro transaction's have potential to be popular too, a few of my friends will happily spend 10-30 bucks on MTX if they like it enough.
But I keep hearing GP promotes more game sales
Which is the opposite of what I keep seeing here. Many say that since a game is on GP that's why they are not buying it.
Almost like people see people playing a digital copy of a game and then buy it.....digitally
Just from here, the only Xbox fan I know who is buying games that are also on Gamepass is Hedon and maybe you. Everyone else is just happy playing it for free.
I am interested in seeing the stats for who bought Microsoft Flight Sim from those who are playing it here.
Xbox had record profits as well.

That's how it is for me. I see no reason at all to buy a game after finishing it on GP. I paid $1 for 3 months of it and I'm almost done with the handful of games I was looking forward to playing. I wouldn't even pay $5 to keep any of the games I've played.
