Yesterday, I tried to plsy the game (steam), & join my friend, but kept getting "cannot connect error". Tried connecting to public games, same issue. Truning off my gfirewall did not help also.
Other games has no issues in MP.
Sigh. If I cannot play with others, I am not getting the game.

Did you check to make sure your in game session was open? Every time I launch the demo my session is always set to private. On xbox you click Right stick to open the session.
Thanks but it doesn't help. Apparently many have the exact issue I have. I will wait out.
Edit: manage to play MP after changing server (download) location from Frankfurt to Munich in steam.

I also found out you CANNOT chat with other players, like seriously, not even sending text....on PC.
Of course I can use discord or some third party app, but thats only for playing with friends. cannot beleibe that in 2021, chat is still not a thing.

That's kind of crazy. The console versions have all that in place.

Got my ass kicked on world Tier 3 fighting low budget Drax & had to swollow my pride & lower my world tier to 2. To be fair I did not find weapon upgrade & has to use my OG shotgun from prologue. I am playing trickster BTW.
Still getting used to the keybind. Later will try MP with friend. & see if it is fun & then making decision on buying or not.
I gotten mostly white gears & a few very boring blue ones with boring stats, so its hard to evalaute how good the loot is for now.

This game has the best loot mechanics I've seen since Diablo. You get a decent increase with progression, they are always character specific, they can be torn down or upgraded and the Legendries actually look and feel like Legendries. Soon enough you'll starting Blue drops and your character will start to come alive..
Forget stats. Just focus on the abilty enhancements. My Devestator build has poor stats but the ability enhancement make me a genocidal maniac.
Don't drop world tiers either. Worse gear.
Also make suere you play to the way you heal.

It's just a small shame you cannot pass loot to another person. Sharing is caring.
I manage to overcome the clunky cover system by well......not using cover....I am a close-range Trickster so the cover isn't as needed.

Yea I hardly ever use cover as a trickster either, it helps to have items that accelerate your teleport cool down so you can continuously teleport around the field use that blade attack to get health back, so cool.

Day one for me. It’s in GamePass. If it was not in GamePass it would still be Day one.

The gameplay just isn't that great, and that's the only thing this game has going for it. It's pretty awful in every other regard. I'll Game Pass it and see if I'm proven wrong but I highly doubt it.
On Xbox the New Zealand time zone switch will supposedly work. I’ll be be trying that later.
The game is the best. I’m to world tier 6 and level 12 with the techno mancer. The mini gun skill is f***ing unbelievable when you mod to improve it. Absolutely loving it.
The crafting system though is were it shines. It’s so simple and so effective that I’m amazed it has taken this long for someone to get it this right. I’ve been swapping mods in and out, increasing rarity, altering value rolls and more. And all without the prohibited cost that the likes of the Division has.

Level 15 world tier 6 right now. All solo.

Sigh. I thouight I can start playing at 45mins ago, but the game updating for despite 100% downloaded.....
Managed to play, but issues with connections...playing with friends.
In the end, manage to progress the story. Currently level 10.
The crafting is pretty cool. Useful & not over complicated.
