A game demo is only allowed for games that have nothing to hide.
I'll be starting tonight thanks to GamePass. I'll start with the Devastator class. I hope the "Reflect Bullet" skill is still as useful and OP so I can charge ahead into the fray.
Yea I'm at level 17 tier 8 and the fights are truly insane. Doesn't help my mates ended up going the same class too.
Bought the game. Played the demo, game kept my progress. Already a big plus in my book. Please make that a standard video game industry. Really enjoyed the demo, and wasn't sure if I was gonna buy the game, but went for it. Game is super fun IMO. Gunplay feels good, powers are awesome to use, boss fights are intense and require a bit more strategy, the little side content is so fun, like being able to customize banners, the vehicle, weapons, etc. and the powers/RPG elements feel just right for this game. Not too much, not too little. Side quests and exploring the environments feel rewarding, and I'm enjoying all the extra bits of lore packed into the game. The side characters add some depth to the world of this game, so I'm super happy they included side quests.
Only got to the first boss last night with a buddy. Got my ass handed to me three times before calling it a night and bringing in reinforcements today (my 11 yr old son). So far I’m really enjoying it. Playing as a devastator class. Love getting up close and personal, taking damage then healing for up close kills. Would probably never have bought the game so I’m thankful it’s on gamepass.

Anyway, this is most fun with friends. I tried solo, & it's okay, but I enjoy it more coop. Its a shame you cannot trade gears

I didn’t k ow that was thing until Ross pointed it out to me yesterday. Yeah it’s a little to punishing. We’re on WT 10 now and the fights are so frantic.
I was using a mini gun build on the Technomaner but I’ve completely rebuilt for Blight build now so I can rain down status effects.
The MP experience is glitchy. Abilities do not register often. I am also struggling as a trickster. Kept getting shot at while trying to close in. Damage from the range is useless. I invested a lot in the leech, life recovery, resist but keep dying of doing zero contribution to fight. Some layout, especially the area with lots of obstruction is bad. World tier 6 btw

Up to WT 11 now. Rebuilt for a Blight status DPS load out and man oh man can you stack some serious critical damage. I’ve been able to melt some bosses using it. Can’t even take a single heavy hit though so it’s a proper glass canon.

But I respec my skill and made some changes but my friend ( known since high school)has to work so I have to wait tomorrow to test. I only play coop. We decided to get this game so we can play together, so I will not play solo.
by the way, I watched a streamer that play world tier .....3. had to roll my eyes. Isn’t streamers suppose to be good at gaming? The advantage of having a pretty face I guess.
Actually, I I started to grow older, I am playing less game beyond default normal difficulties. I pushing towards fun->challenged.
Me too, and I've been considering dropping difficulty in some games to easy just so I can try to get through some of my back catalog faster. Still haven't made the shameful easy plunge yet though!!

I got kicked out of two sessions of Outriders last night and after the second time I just shutdown for the night. My guess is the increased server traffic is causing some issues but I'm sure it'll be worked out.

I went the opposite. Challenging = fun. Playing games on easy is just boring to me.
I hear that. For many gamers a large part of the fun is the challenges they face in a game. Its the reason I think for the popularity of the Soulsborne genre of games. For me its a balance that has to be there between challenge and fun and if I feel said challenge is fair. Take Narita Boy currently on Gamepass, I adore its artistic presentation but some of the foreground can obscure enemy attacks making it difficult to see what's actually happening. I do miss the days of cheat codes like God Mode or Infinite Ammo, those were so much fun but nearly nonexistent in gaming today.
Yea the game is having some teething problems with actually getting online and playing, was pretty fustrating for us yesterday, I guess most games like this have problems day 1 especially been on GP.
Still so much fun though, the crafting system truly is amazing how it doesn't punish you for experimenting with different builds and play styles.

4 days being live. 4 days of sustained disconnects. This is shocking. And I get it’s not the development company that’s at fault here, it’s the publisher that’s running their online service but it’s still really bad for them.
It has to be simple server overload. Releasing the game "free" on Game pass just makes it worse. Fall Guys had the same problem launching free on PS+. The game was a surprise hit and suddenly it was the hot thing and they didn't have the capacity.
no, I don’t think this is server overload, I think it’s something to do with cross play.
