“within” from their own, or the third party companies they teamed up with to promote it when appropriate, or a controlled leak? Taco Bell had access, monster had access, some employee info from retailers had info...hell there were third party and indie game devs that access to this, no?

why was he exhausted? He’s always smiling in his interviews. Could he not afford a seat to sit upon?

Again, those parties didn't have the trailer. This was obviously a leak much closer than that since this is where it was supposed to be revealed:



They were exhausted, and every single piece of evidence proves that.

The first report about 10 million said fiscal year, this new report makes no sense because the original said 10 million and now they had to cut it to 11, you can't cut 10 to 11 so they've messed up someplace but I already posted a link to the original statement somewhere in this thread and it was fiscal year.

Edit: Looking at other sources now it does look like they planned on 10 to be manufactured this year and 15 for the fiscal year which is not what I read before.

Initially Bloomberg said Sony was going to do 6 million in the fiscal year, then they came up and said they doubled the order to 10 million this year and 15 for the fiscal (I guess) and now it's down to 11 so their reporting is all over the place.

These are the numbers we got, they seem to be more balanced to what they were looking to hit than the others.

When Sony get the yields under control, it appears they'll be able to pump them out at an alarming rate.

It’s not the same though. Having no games on a platform that is vastly more popular is not the same as no games on a platform that is less popular.

Subjective, eh....relative might be the better word. For example: The no games line refers to exclusive and all MGS games being on PC = No exclusives. But, for a console only gamer tgere is no difference between PS and Xbox exclusives, they can only play them on a specific console. AnXboX owner can't play The Medium on playstation.

Yes, had to order the guns from amerika, ended at about $80 incl shipping... each, lol.
I'm guessing the end of crt TVs made devs question the install base, needing a move controller and gun peripheral to play means not a huge amount of console owners would buy them.
There's a bit more on the wii but they look horrible lol

But why do we need a move controller. Why can't they be as they were back in the PS1 era...wgich were essentially no different than a normal controller.

Light guns doesn't work on flat screens I'm afraid. There's some crowdfunded thing for lcds but from what I've read it's not great.
I have guns for my dreamcast and love playing virtua cop 2 but it's a huge hassle to carry my 32" crt from the garage every time I want to play it.

Haven't even seen a CRT TV in 10 years let alone still having one.

Yes, especially since people seem to completely ignore the idea that multiplat games exist and are going to be the big game releases. Cyberpunk, AC, COD, Destiny 2 DLC, Star Wars Squadrons. Early 2021 might be even crazier too.

I hope I can find enough time to play these "no games". People don't like to see that exclusives just arern't that important. I can totally see myself buying a next gen console on launch day and buying zero exclusive games, and not really caring. So what if the other console can enjoy the game too?

I am getting exclusives on my Series X at launch, as well as exclusives on my PS5 at launch. As well as third party games.

Glad there are NO GAMES for both my consoles.
