DF said in their video XBoXsX has to lower the resolution to as low as 1080p to be stable while this di dnot happen as often for PS5, Red Dragon bias is affecting his ability to rationalise. Obviously, he is in phase 1 or 2 of grief.

In their video, DF states other than the opening cutscene where the PS5 performance dips, the overall performance is about the same pre and post patch during gameplay. NXGamer's analysis confirms the same. VGtech's analysis is the only one so far that says overall performance has dropped 5% for the PS5 between pre and post patch.
Your tweet implied inventory limits as to why sales seem to be lower for the Xbox Series. I said the PlayStation has always been more popular, therefore not out of reason that it would sell more to start the gen.

Watch out. Swede is going to correct you there. DF counted as low as 1188p, VGTech was the one who counted as low as 1080p.
Yeah, some Xbox fans are getting to the point where it's pretty unhealthy to want to spin the narrative.
The problem is that this console wars nonsense is causing them to do dumb things to the game. The XSX patch for ACV was dumb. The game ran fine, and nobody cared about a few FPS drop in a few scripted scenes until DF made a big deal over it. Now all of a sudden we're getting huge resolution drops that weren't needed.
We've played past games at 30 fps or even less. Dropping to 55 in select cutscenes was such a non-issue. I'm an FPS "snob" and I would have never noticed or cared.
Now in game I have two choices instead of one, but both are worse than the original option.
People who never liked Xbox to begin with are now acting up on twitter and breaking my damn games and it is starting to really get crazy.
On the XSX, the performance mode should be generally better now with it scaling down close to full HD resolutions. For the PS5, it definitely did more bad than good. There's now more screen tears and performance seemed to have worsen a little bit according to VGtech, though DF and NXGamer said it was pretty much the same.

Not really. The resolution drop is pretty noticeable, where as the teeny tiny FPS drops now and then were not.
Had the game been dropping into the 40s or even 30s? That would have been a big deal. 55?? FFS that's just dumb. Typical console warz stupidity.
I doubt many people could even detect the slight fps drops without the tools that DF uses. They also specifically cherry picked a few scenes where you are interacting with NPCs which happens so infrequently.
Also don't forget that PC had the exact same issue, so it wasn't even relevant to just Xbox or people looking to compare the consoles.
Honestly, the screen tearing didn't really bother me, although I can see how people that are sensitive to that would be bothered.
I haven't noticed the drop in resolution in performance mode either, having a hard time seeing much difference vs quality mode tbh... It's hard to compare though since you have to restart the game for it to take effect.

I don't have a XSX so can't comment on whether the resolution drop is noticeable or not pre and post patch. But I would suspect so if you have a large enough TV or have sensitive eyes with it dropping close to 1080p / 1188p resolutions.
The game dropped to 46 fps at one point in the comparison vs 60 fps on the PS5 pre-patch. Then there were the stutters and performance drops in towns pre-patch on the Xbox Series consoles.

OH, my bad. I read it the other way around. But where is Xbox Series outselling the PS5? Everywhere I'm reading is the other way around.
Ask him, don't ask me. Oddly enough, everywhere I am reading, it's the opposite of what you are reading. MS said theirs is selling the best, and Benji is stating that Xbox is selling the best.
