Well it will look and perform great. I don't know beyond that because all racing games seem the same to me.

I guess buying half finished games isn't enough support.
Just to be clear, I'm not some major insider. Lol Occasionally I get to hear things from people that are in the industry and put pieces together.Do you think Halo Infinite and Forza Motorsport will be knocking it out of the park, graphically, performance and game play?
I expect Halo to look like a really good Halo game based on 1) 2018 demo still is the target and 2) based on yesterday's update, most of their extra time is going towards refining whats there.
Turn 10 is simply one of the best studios in the industry, has grown to their largest size and has been given their longest dev window. Have heard nothing from there but would be shocked if their game wasn't a technical showpiece whenever it comes out. There's public info that they're working on refining all the physics and technical aspects beyond graphics. In general, there's a lot of info that Microsoft is prioritizing things beyond graphics this gen. Probably what I'm most excited about from a technical aspect.
Hated it last gen. 1 to 4 were awesome. 5- 7 declining s***.
Funnything is, I bet I played FM7 more than you guys who claim it is awesome.
Tbh.... I'm not a big racing fan but I find Forza Horizon 4 to be my favorite.
I feel like fh3 had a better environment but 4 was much more pretty with the seasons and the trees that are breakable are much easier to read

Developers should be constantly innovating and pushing the envelope. Being content with Sony tools and the benchmark consoles set results in stagnation.

I think you're probably right. I think in terms of noticeable differences during gameplay, this generation will be virtually identical for 3rd party. You will see a handful of exceptions in one direction or the other, but nothing meaningful.
