Yea those 2 games have pretty impressive load times which would be taking full advantage of that I/O speed, then on the flip side games like Gears 5, horizon 4 and Sea of thieves which all had pretty bad load times previous gen now load in a few seconds, heck even skyrim only takes a few seconds with a full mod list loaded.
These SSD's are gonna spoil us this gen, as well as crisp and smooth gameplay we're all in for a treat no matter what we're gaming on.
Yup SSD's are a huge improvement, I remember when I first installed my first SSD, it was a like whole brand new computer with just the increased performance in loading everything.
It does and yes, you just said slow minded folks, some people actually have it as a genetic disease. Imagine using it as an insult in 2021.

He's referring to hardware accelerated capabilities and saying it's all there. Like I've said before, this semantics stuff is ridiculous. You can say it's anything by creating your own definitions...which is what this bozo who's arguing with a hardware engineer is doing. All that matters is what it's capable of. Hardware based features offer more performance than doing it in software. You could run VRS is PS4 Pro. You could run ray tracing on last gen technically...but no dev would because there would be little room for anything else.
End of the day, just wait for the games. I told you what a dev said. No amount of semantics is going to change what the hardware is actually capable of. My buddy was telling me how he's already got stuff in the pipeline that has brought the Series X to a grinding halt. PS5 only performs worse. These pieces of hardware don't have magic. There's no fairy dust. They are pretty much what we see in plain site. The hardware accelerated features gives the consoles that have them some incremental efficiency. They are streamlined PCs with some modifications...but at the end of the day, they're PCs. Both are plenty capable. Both aren't able to fully run what devs have in the pipelines now and will require sacrifices compared to high end PCs.
If there's any magic this gen, it's in the tools. It's going to be a great gen but people are kind of ruining the fun with this nonsense right now.
