And yet this 4 TF machine has the fast SSD. Has the increased frames. Has the RT. Has the 120FPS. All your supposed next gen machine does is a higher res....a last gen higher res I might add. So much for the "next gen TFs."lol.

Some games cannot and don't run 120 fps like on the current gen machines.
3.97 TF's doesn't cut it.
10 gigs of split ram aint cutting it either hence the blurrier textures in some games.
What xss tries to be is impossible.
They should of went with 6 TF's and 12 gigs.

Same as not all games are native 4K on your last gen XSX & PS5. Nor does everygame run at 120 FPS. lol.
What the XSX and PS5 are trying to do just isn't possible. Should have gone with 20TF and 18GB DDR8.
You mentioned 120 fps games and fell flat on your face.
No gaming device is running true 4K in all games.... surely not the xss.

Here is a fun fact. The XSS is over 3 times more powerful than the X1. The XSX is only 2x more powerful than the X1X....hahhaahaha.
You used 120fps as a point.
xss doesn't run every game at 120 so you fail.
It is supposed to do everything the current gen does at a lower resolution according to MS.
Of course with its specs this is impossible.
XBOX One X is about 5x the xbo.
Series X is over 2 x the Xbox One X with RDNA 2.

- 60fps with drops to 50fps (down to mid-40fps in some places on Series X) in gameplay
- PS5 stays below 60fps more often than Series X
- vsync on only on the PS5
- Screen tearing only on the Xbox Series.
- Higher degree of vsync stutter on PS5
- Cutscenes 30 fps
- 1080p on series S.
Not native 4k/60fps even on an old engine
It's a bad port. Series X/S and PS5 should be able to run it without issues.
Yet it does 120FPS gaming. So, FACT!
Yet it is doing what the XSX is doing but at a lower res. FACT!
XSS has a greater generational power jump over the X1 than the XSX does over the X1X. FACT!

I have mentioned the lack of power with the xss all along.
Resolution being last gen based is expected as the last gen 4.2 TF PS4 Pro had it's share of 1080p/1440p games just like the 3.97 TF xss does.
It's lack of power=SIGNIFICANTLY lower resolutions,less details and performance limitations compared to the current gen.
oh and missing RT in some titles.

Simple fact is your dumb ass comment has backed you into a corner you can't escape from. If one is last gen then they are all last gen. The simple fact is the XSS does everything, it does 120FPS, it does RT, it does spatial audio, it has the super fast load times, it has the SSD, it does it all just at a lower res. They are all facts.
Maybe you should find another way to justify your purchases, cause this way just makes you look like an idiot.

xss doesn't always do everything though as I already stated.
Why would it? A res virtually nobody has and those that do have are PC gamers. lol. It is a 1080p machine and we all know it.
And the PS5 has 8K on the box. How many 8K games does it have?
I think part of it is because upping the challenge is an easy way to add to a games "length" without having to put much work in. If the game is at 6 hours and you know everybody is going to ding you for it in reviews, you can either add levels/worlds/story, or you can just increase the enemy HP by 50%.
