That is why people who work at big companies probably shouldn't criticize people at other companies, Gates was friends with Epstein and I'm sure there are a few people at MS, Sony and Nintendo who are guilty of this kind of thing. It has nothing to do with the company it's the sick individual who's working there doing their job during the day then going home and doing sick things at night. I'm glad Sony fired the guy right away I just hope this whole thing isn't another internet scam with people trying to get attention, I heard that they busted some guy from Nvidia in the past as well so that makes me feel like this is pretty legit though.

Open world games should need to be open world, it makes no sense to do a linear story game in an open world that just artificially adds to play time because it takes longer to get from one point to the next. I'm not saying that's what is happening in Halo I haven't played it yet (I am going to) but from what I've read it doesn't sound like it really needs to be open world. It also doesn't sound like it's a full open world in the way some other games are, it's not like far cry or GTA from what I've read.

It sounds like the campaign is an hour or two shorter than previous Halo games so I doubt they've added 2+ hours of additional side missions but we'll see. I have only watched a little bit of footage but the side missions all look pretty similar which is often the case in games that have them.

We can talk this when we start seeing more than less of a handful of 90+ average GAMES.

Until then work has to be done.

No it doesn't. It sounds like 8 to 12 hours puts it firmly on par with any main Halo game to date. Even the longest prior to infinite was about 10 hours.

Then you have the side content on top of that in Infinite.

Val complains about any game being short, Kena wasn't worth $40 to him because it can potentially be finished in 9-10 hours (usually takes longer), R&C was just going to be a game to show off the graphics if he bought it at all because you can rush through it in 11 hours even though it averages more like 15 or so.
 
It’s gonna be s*** show when MS released Starfield, Redfall and Forza 8 (if it come out) next year.

I can’t wait for the usual suspects to line up.

I will probably s*** on HFW though 😎

Why is that? Are we finally going to get non simulation and racing games with a 90+ average?
I sure hope so as I like XSX's lineup better.

I just play games I enjoy regardless of the score.
