Pretty smart of Sony to hide the console since it’s been months of inflating its specs in the imaginations of gamers. Game changing SSD, RDNA3, revolutionary controller, tempest engine, and Kraken decompression.
Must be something with those amazing visuals.RDNA 3 must be the main ingredient in the secret sauce
Pinch of salt and all that.

I am guessing it has something to do with the split ram setup...
Actually Pro has a additional 1 GB of slower ram for the OS and it's a bit sluggish at times.Doubt it. Even the slower 6GB of Ram has a throughput of 336GB/s which is for OS and CPU. The PS4 pro managed a 4K UI on 218 GB/s.

When the ram runs at different speeds this can happen.
So, yeah, exactly what I thought. Some source even your Sony blinders has to preface with "if this source is correct."
The only way I see anything RDNA3 related making it into a console is if it's a feature that the console maker actively worked on and is going to allow AMD to include in future hardware but that's still almost surely not happening.
I don't know why people are so fixated on RDNA 3 features, it could well be that Sony has some specific RDNA2 feature that they co-developed that is only available to them for now, that's more likely than anything RDNA3 as that's still so far off and as Hrudey has pointed out RDNA2 isn't even out yet for desktop hardware.
The custom could be RDNA 3 based.
We don't know yet but I'm sure things will come to light soon.

So your logic is by not allowing no possibility but, in fact, a CERTAINTY that his information is legit that it's somehow a bad thing? This is exactly why you tend to stick your foot all the way in your mouth every single time. His information has been quite accurate in the pass, based on his actual inside sources, but even by that will I not grant him 100% of those odds not turning up correct. That's what logical thinking is rather than blinders, something you tend to wear quite often.
It's one thing to mention something because it makes complete sense than to mention it out of fear of it being true because you are hoping desperately that it's not.

Something just like that is VERY, VERY possible.
Do we need a word other than Shawn? It's pretty well synonymous now.Should we call someone who is always pro Sony a Prony? We already have Xbots for those unwavering Xbox touters.
If it was "Sony brought us this amazing feature that we got into RDNA2" that would pass the test. To say Sony got something from an architecture on a different process node somehow grafted into this node is on its face absurd. When that new architecture is more than a year away, the thought that it was going into production is even more absurd. And if anything remotely if the sort was happening, we'd see
I looked at that time range and there's a lot of talk about what happened in the past and what he believes, and him saying they take slivers of leaks and make guesses. I don't see him saying there's a single feature that showed to l up in 3 that he had been told was ported to Sony's APU. But, of course, one person's guess is good enough for you when it's Pro-Sony.
Should we call someone who is always pro Sony a Prony? We already have Xbots for those unwavering Xbox touters.
I predict that they'll both have the same number of unsold consoles by Christmas, which is zero to the millionth power. Have no idea on who started manufacturing first or is producing more, which is the only thing this is about anyway.
This thread's argumentations gets better with each passing day.
Honest question: did you think you would have betrayed Xbox or Microsoft by watching that video before indulging into this discussion?
That's truely sad. It's clear whose wearing the blinders here. This discussion is done. LOL!
Wut lolNope, the battery debate was the best of them all. Especially when someone mentioned that the PS5 controller needed a special battery in order to work because it was so technologically advanced or something. For me, nothing will ever reach the ridiculousness of that.
I have slightly more respect to XBots. In football (the real one played with the feet), there is a term called "glory hunters" who always supports the team of the moment, & not the local team.Should we call someone who is always pro Sony a Prony? We already have Xbots for those unwavering Xbox touters.
