Sell it for $800 and rebuy a console when there's good enough games (and perhaps a price drop)... Holidays 2022 seems like a good time.

It does, unfortunately only the exclusives are taking more advantage of the faster SSD. Check out the load times on the new Spiderman and Demon's Souls. Really impressive.
 
There have been several multiplats that loaded faster on PF5 as well. Ultimately the loading speed on multiplats is so close between the two systems for most games, it doesn't really matter. If you're buying either console because of a few second loading benefit in a handful of games, you're a lunatic..

Yeah I don't have a PS5 yet, but loading times on XSX are so fast that it really doesn't matter. When you measure load times in minutes on last gen systems, a 10-20% difference is huge, but when you are down to a few seconds, it doesn't matter.

Even Destiny 2 loads very quickly, and normally that game takes an eternity to start. Even on PC with a "regular" SSD it takes longer to load.

I'm curious on the Pulse 3D as well. I tried the Turtle Beach Stealth 600 Gen2 because I liked the Gen1 on Xbox, but it had a buzzing noise. Plus it was a bit tighter than the Gen1 and I'm pretty picky with how it fits on my head. Steelseries has the best headband IMO so I was thinking of getting the Arctis 7P but that thing is always out of stock. I'm using my Steelseries Arctis 5 for PC and it works fine for now so might continue to wait.

True... Just that Sony was the one hyping the PS5 as the much faster console. Now we know it was a load of sales gimmick crap from Sony

Sorry to make you upset... Maybe my eyes are bad, but I don't see a Next Gen jump in how the Demon's Souls remake looks. IMO, I think Sony was having BluePoint developing it for PS4 first, and switched it over to PS5 only because they needed something exclusive for PS5's launch.

I could be wrong, but I don't think so

I’m big into Apple because they make nice stuff and the devices have added value because they play nice with each other. Sony on the other have could have been Apple. Since PlayStation is the flagship product for Sony then it should feature the best of Sony services. Sony movies and music store fronts should be front and center. Dolby Vision support should be a given. I should not have to rent a Sony movie on even a Xbox because it’s better quality.

They had to cancel their music app otherwise Spotify wouldn’t be there, eventually Xbox did the same with their music app :(

i wonder if Sony’s film studios are the reason why there aren’t many movie apps/stores in their psn ecosystem....I think Xbox is getting Apples soon-ish or maybe already does, I can’t recall 😣
