The inevitable ones, besides Sony’s, there’s gonna be devs that only make games for the ps5 and pc only and say they only work on two because it’s more work to make it for a third and then maybe release said third one a later time
Sony hasn't made any such statements.

Didn’t they say they’ll port titles to pc if they feel it will be good for the game and or audience...and there was reference of porting multiplayer games.

The obvious game coming from Sony top of its MLB the Show, no?

In an interview, Shawn Layden, chairman of Sony’s game studios worldwide, said exclusive titles will still be a part of the company’s strategy, but that some games -- particularly multiplayer titles designed to be played on personal computers -- may see broader distribution.

“We must support the PlayStation platform -- that is nonnegotiable,” Layden said. “That said, you will see in the future some titles coming out of my collection of studios which may need to lean into a wider installed base.”

They had to bring MLB on other platforms or they would lose the license.
Again I ask you... where did SONY say PS5 exclusives are coming to the PC?

I reckon there will be PS5 exclusives on PC just the same as some PS4 exclusives went to PC.

link to the Sony made PS5 games coming to PS5?

Fixed.

But be honest, with yourself. Do you doubt that Jim Ryan’s statement of future titles coming to PC does not include PS5 ports.

I highly doubt Sony will continue to support ps4 after they’ve established the PS5 as their focus a year or more than now. I’ll bet you a month of gold or psn code if it ever a ps5 port on pc never happens.

Horizon is coming to PC and it is being heavily rumored that God of War is next.

At the end of the day, money talks, and its cheaper to port a huge game vs starting from scratch.

Forget fanboy-ism....from a business perspective it makes perfect sense. AAA games are insanely expensive to make. So why not spend a bit more and bring the game to a another huge player base?

I know, I know, ‘insert same arguments against MS bringing X games to PC’.

While this whole idea might piss off a very, very small subset of players, in the end, people who play on consoles will play on consoles, and the same for PC. As long as you buy the game, the publishers don’t care where you play it.

It’s just better for everyone. More people get to play the game, and the studio and publisher profit more from it.

Of course some PS5 games will go to PC, eventually. I think how many end up there will depend on the engagement of current titles.

MS made it easy to port games to and from PC, so their ‘simultaneous’ release makes sense.

I don’t understand why anyone would be upset that big games like Horizon go to PC, especially more than 1+ years after release?

Please explain the logic from a business perspective.

Or why they would be upset, ever.

I wonder if, in a way, Kojima laid out the groundwork for Sony exclusives coming to PC...since they did use the decima engine for Death Stranding. I’m assuming that engine is gonna be used in the PC port.

No he laid the ground work for the Decima engine PS4 HZD to be released nothing more.

Why buy a certain gaming machine if it doesn't have exclusives?
TERRIBLE idea! Thankfully Sony and Nintendo actually make exclusive games still.

XB consoles aren't needed anymore to play XB games... I know quite a few XB peeps who don't even buy XB consoles anymore because of this and it's constantly mentioned all over gaming forums.
What did XB losing exclusives cause? PS4 selling almost 3:1 XBO and Switch surpassing XBO in sales after releasing in the middle of the generation.
Things were much closer last gen.
PS4 exclusives still significantly outsell XB/PC games combined so no it doesn't make much business sense.

Releasing older games is a different story altogether(would luv Bloodborne PC) but it doesn't take a expert to see what happened with HZD.

Games built ground up for the PS5 using its strengths like the super fast SSD aren't possible to come to the PC unless they make the games for a very limited PCI E 4.0 Mobo having audience.

Let's see...
They already simultaneously had teams making the Decima engine powered Death Stranding.
So it would be a easy port of a older game that is just sitting there not likely to gain anymore chart top sales.
Why not try and get some milkage?

It coming to PC doesn't hurt PS5 in anyway.
Might even use the added enhancements to PC as a test for PS5 enhancements?

I could see the work they did, for the PC/decima engine, as insight to whatever GG is working on next, I’m hoping HZD2. Whatever it is it’ll be JJ Abrams pretty.

They don’t usually make money on HW until much later in the cycle. Games are where the money is. MS doesn’t care what you play on, they just care that you buy their game. I don’t see why Sony would feel any differently.
Money is money, and software

More potential players = more potential sales.
I hate gaming on a PC, and there a lot of players like that. If I wanted to play a game that only existed on PC, then yeah, I’d game on it. But given a choice, a console is just more convenient.

Putting a game on PC won’t ruin sales for either console
