One thing that I wish both companies would have done is copy the volume control from the Nvidia Shield TV controller.

It’s a small touch but it’s cool and convenient. It’s basically a little touch strip where you can control the volume of the tv from the controller or control the volumes from the auxiliary jack.

No, not a PS5 dev, but still a dev who knows more than us.

We’ll see. I’m open to whatever. But if the PS 5 has interesting stuff like this, why didn’t they just say it in their deep dive? Especially after MS already showed most of their hand? Why say nothing all?

That being said, I think once they show their games, people won’t talking about the power difference nearly as much.

Did you watch the above video?

The shape of the controller looks sort of more 3rd party generic anyway, it's the stuff that it can do that makes it much more than that. I like the lights on it but yeah it'd drain battery I'm sure I just think it looks cool.

My Razer controller does something kind of similar and the lights can be pretty distracting at night, does look cool though, if the startup was like that then the lights went away it would be pretty sweet.

If you want a very in-depth explanation, it’s here:

VRS is confirmed by an Activision dev here in Resetera.
“No. He didn't confirm that at all. Please don't be misled by those fools who don't even have any basic knowledge about graphics. What the Activision dev said basically means, the Geometry Pipeline, happens before the Drawing Pipeline. This is a technology truth and there's no other interpretation. Please see the detailed explanation below.“

It is not a boosted clock.
It runs it different VARIABLE frequency mode.
Not exactly the same thing.
Even Cerny called it boosted clock. Jesus f*** christ, dude. Your world hasn't ended. And yes it is boosted clocks, it is the definition of boosted clocks. Only difference is the PS5 will actually utilize it, unlike the marketing ploy boosted clocks on PC GPUs.
