It's okay at times but you can tell its from the 360/PS3 era.
Especially considering Bioware games have a habit of having cheaper animations.
But they did an okay job with the Legendary Edition.

Really fun experience. If you like that genre of game, you'll like this one.
I think it boils down to lots of devs perhaps no knowing how to program that feature, or at least do it in a good way. It's probably a dropped feature for many games.
