Official Thread Ratchet And Clank: A Rift Apart - June 11, 2021 UPDATE Preload Up

I've never played a Ratchet & Clank game so I don't really know what to expect. But for this game I thought it was Open World because of how large the environments look. Instead I've read its a linear action/platformer with large open areas with lots of action set-pieces. Sounds good to me.

My only problem with this game is its release date. It comes out a day after the PS5 version of FF7 Remake comes out and I really want to finally get to play that. At this point I still can't make up my mind which to get first. Sony release schedule is making things difficult but I admit its a good problem to have.

I love FF7 remake.

I can't believe you managed to be patient enough to wait for the PS5 upgrade version haha. More power to you though since it'll look and play awesome.

Is there couch coop in this game? I'm looking forward to playing this, but this looks like something my kids would love as well.

I would have got this game if I have a PS5. I loved OG R&C on PS2. When I was a student I can only play games during school holidays & weekends (unlike kids these days), & R&C & its sequence were those amazing Holiday games I played. Great memory

Awe what, no RT in 4k 30?
Looks like it's native but dynamic so it goes through the temporal injection thing to always give the impression of a 4K image even when the native res drops, whatever they are doing it looks great, Miles Morales in quality mode looks super clean and sharp, of course even on the PS4 Pro Spider-Man looked as sharp as any native 4K game on the market. Maybe you can see differences when you pause it an zoom 400% but since none of us do that it's silly to even bring up.
