Decided not to bite the bullet on this yet. Got Ark instead.
 
Ark was on my list but got taken off when they released dlc for an unfinished game.
 
Is it just me, or are the controls... funky? In a not entirely good way...

I'm going to give it more time, but... I don't know yet.

I LOVED Gun Valkyrie in spite of its controls... but I don't know...

Yeah it's a little stiff (not like that...I'm onto you!)....but you get used to it after awhile. Especially after you get the 3 base cores and learn to use them, combat becomes way more fun.
 
Picked this up for $15 at Target. Popped it in yesterday to get a taste before I delve into Skyrim Remastered (which I picked up on the same day). What was supposed to have been a 5 minute sampling, turned into a 4 hour excursion. This game is surprisingly addicting, to me at least. More than likely, I'll go ahead and play through Recore in its entirety before I spend any time on Skyrim.

I bought it on the $15 deal but it will probably be February before I get a chance to play. This gives me more reason to work on others from Dat BacklogTM until this DL comes out.
 
Can you still explore and do dungeons AFTER the main story is complete? Or is it a 'you beat the game, now start over' type of thing.
 
My god...

The Shifting Sands 100% Hardware Achievement is the worst thing since finding all flags in the original Assassins Creed. Stuck at 99%
 
Played the 30 minute trial and was bummed when it was over. That was a fast 30 minutes!
 
Ok. Putting this game down for awhile. I'm on Floor 3 of the final stage and for the life of me, cannot get past the second enemy "arena". The radiation keeps killing me. I can see why only 2% of players have beaten the game.

I had more problems with the navigation on the higher floors, to the eternal delight of my younger son, who giggled incessantly each time Joule fell off a platform or missed a jump.

I love it, but that would have deprived me of a couple of minutes from furiously insane giggling by my six year old, who seems to love nothing more in life than watching Joule falling down after missing a jump/hitting an obstacle/whathaveyou.
 
I tried a couple times and will go back to do it properly but my bed was calling me and I thought I would see if that worked
 
So 50% off $20? lol. I should get it and play it for that price. I don't know what's stopping me. Well.. besides the fact that i have 100 other games to play still.

Why can't i be like you guys and stick to one platform mostly? I envy people without ADD/OCD or whatever my problem is. I have to play a little bit of everything.
