Might as well say you've never played RE lol. 7 and 8 aren't bad, just not RE that defined the survival horror genre. I consider those as spin offs.
For only $18.99, yes. Both will keep you occupied. I loved RE 2. RE 3 was decent, but could have been better if they had followed RE2's remake formula.

I played RE1,2, and 3 back on PSone, played RE CV back on Dreamcast, never got around to 4 on. I think I played one of the co-op ones online back on the 360 for an hour with a buddy don’t remember which.

They're usually cheaper on the Xbox store during sales. I paid full price for RE2 when it released and it was worth it and I'm a cheapskate.

I'd say you should be ashamed of yourself, but seeing that we have Shawn here being the Sony gimp he is and never played even half of the playstation must-play catalog, I think I'll let it pass.
Yes, it's pretty much a 10/10 for me. 3 REmake is a severely watered-down game though, still worth at least $30 imo.
From what I have seen of the RE series, I would rather play Saints Row 2022.
I bought RE3 several months ago, but haven't gotten around to playing it yet.
I would really like to know the reasoning behind RE3's stunted remake.
