I can easily suspend my disbelief and I get that it's a Marvel universe. Doesn't make flying cars any less stupid. But a piece of alien tech in the shape of a centipede that when planted on a human arm to make them incredibly strong, amplified with a drug that makes people glow red and explode is fine. I agree, the car was cheesy. But this is a television show set in the same cinematic universe where a guy from Asgard flies about with a hammer and there's a guy who turns into a giant green rage monster. It's a Marvel TV show about a world full of super heroes and alien technology, you have to suspend your sense of disbelief when watching this stuff. It was also only the first episode, which traditionally have never been great in any TV show.
Anyways, I'm really just nitpicking with the stupid car. The writing was horrible and that is what disappointed me more than anything.
"hey Sky, we don't know anything about you and you keep leaking sensitive info to the general public, you've hacked our computers and stolen information from us, want a job"? "Oh, we need to interrogate you and get info from you, I'll just give this super duper truth serum to my co-worker here and let him tell you how pretty he thinks you are".
Granny...
