True, but in this case, for Sony, PlayStation and their film division are the money makers. You’d think they’d trim elsewhere, still would suck where ever it happens tho.

Sadly, true….but Bungie had been big for a while and didn’t really seem to hire more during Covid. They were roughly the same size before and after, I could be wrong.

I think they did some genetic testing/research that sweden has a lot of Asian ancestry, probably the only country with said concentration for those “native” to Europe. My ex looked it, yo, they be blessed too

I was thinking it could have been Bungie, because they supposedly were operating independent of Sony and making their own decisions. But with all the other PS layoff and termination announcements right now, I don't think that is a decision Bungie made.

Well, it may have been their leadership that lead them to activision and make said deal in the first place, even tho some of the founding members that left or before or after it’s release have said mixed things about it. Maybe place the blame on the existing founders? They wanted to leave, be free peacocks m, but in the end went back into two toxic relationships.
I said this way back. People blamed Activision for lack of content which I found hilarious given Activision dedicated several studios to help with lacking content and it had no real greater output. Why? Because the engine is garbage and we knew that before Activision came along.
That is why I said Marathon is screwed if it uses the same engine.
Activision is still a very bad company. They were the push behind pushing out Destiny 2 in a horrible state.
Most games take 1 DLC to "fix", D2 took several. I'm not saying Bungie was not part of the problem overall, but Activision is a horrible company that has a track record of things just like this.

He’s got a fantastic track record that goes back to most of the older halo games as well, why are they getting rid of such great talent? I’d understand if they moved him over to marathon, but this sucks.Got rid of Michael Salvatori? What are they doing?

Seems like Sony is gutting Bungie. Maybe MS should acquire Bungie? They could give Bungie the Halo IP and bury the franchise.
You’d think that with the moment the guy from foreign investment that they’d stay independent. They have to ask for more if there want to be free again, again, by buying themselves out.
