I am going to do Fidelity mode for sure.Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales is the perfect kick-off for the next generation
From ray tracing to performance mode, Insomniac and PS5 blow us away.
Oh man, virtually locked 30 fps in fidelity mode vs virtually locked 60fps in performance mode. It's going to be a tough choice. Fidelity mode is native 4k/30 fps with raytracing. Performance mode is minimum 1512p (from writers count but says may go down to 1440p) to almost native 4k. Great read and sounds like it's an amazing title to start next gen.

Looking forward to it, but want to see how well it performs on PS4 because that's where I'll be playing it.
I don't want that 5 hour anti consumer game at launch/full price anyway.VaLLiancE
A 7 for a score Val.

Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales sticks a bit too close to its predecessor in terms of mechanics, but manages to stand on its own through its story and characters.www.gamespot.com
Wait, I thought Swede convinced me you're a Sony fanboy.I don't want that 5 hour anti consumer game at launch/full price anyway.
Wrong, it's 10 hours and not full price.I don't want that 5 hour anti consumer game at launch/full price anyway.
Its a little more than a expansion, at least that's what it appears to me.. I just wish I had a PS5 coming to me next week. But unless I get lucky that's not happening so I'll have to play this on my Pro.Wrong, it's 10 hours and not full price.

Skill-Up said 10 hours, Kotaku says 10-12 for the story, you linked a story from June when nobody had played it yet and were just guessing. I don't blame you that's what all of the outlets were saying at the time they were just wrong but it's not a 5 hour game and it was never listed as full price unless you want the remastered original game as well otherwise it's $50.00Spider-Man: Miles Morales is a 5-to-10-hour Standalone Game, Visual Upgrades Detailed - NewsBreak
Last week at Sony’s big PS5 reveal event, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales was announced, which was certainly cause for excitement for true Marvel fans, but some questions remained. Was Miles Morales a full game in its own right? Or more of an “expansion and enhancement” of Insomniac’s...www.newsbreak.com
5-10 hours is way to short for $50Skill-Up said 10 hours, Kotaku says 10-12 for the story, you linked a story from June when nobody had played it yet and were just guessing. Again two outlets that just played it said it's 10 hours at least and it's reviewing as well or in some cases better than the first game so you should probably drop the outdated 5 hour thing from 5 months ago. there are also plenty of games that have 10 hours or less of story content that are full price. If you don't want this game that's fine, I don't know why you keep coming in to check on it though since you've already made up your mind. It's not like this is a console discussion where there are different features, games and strategies involved to discuss this is a thread for a single game, you either want it or you don't.5-10 hours is way to short for $50
To be fair, he doesn't sound like 10 v 5 will make the difference for him. There are games I'd pay full price for even if the game is short, and ones I won't pay half price for even if they're longer. I dunno. I think if they'd just market it as a companion game to destiny he'd be down.Again two outlets that just played it said it's 10 hours at least and it's reviewing as well or in some cases better than the first game so you should probably drop the outdated 5 hour thing from 5 months ago. there are also plenty of games that have 10 hours or less of story content that are full price. I still don't get your anti consumer opinion, I've asked you to explain it and you haven't done it yet. It's not like they are just adding skins they've added a whole new story, characters, made visual upgrades, added a 60fps mode etc. Yeah it's 10 -12 hours instead of 15 but it's also $10 cheaper than a full priced current gen game or $20 cheaper than a PS5 1st party game. You'd be more accurate calling it a story expansion than just DLC and continually saying 5 hours doens't help your case when reviews all say it takes 10 hours or more and that has been pointed out to you more than once already.Sony's handling of it is anti consumer.
5-10 hours without mp for DLC is expensive.

I think my Val-sense is tingling. The anti-consumer complaint is probably more tied to them charging for the upgrade on the base game, though $50 is a pretty steep price for a story expansion too.I still don't get your anti consumer opinion, I've asked you to explain it and you haven't done it yet. It's basically the same as a $40 price on a current gen expansion, it's $20 less than a normal first party game release, everything went up $10 as far as first party goes.I think my Val-sense is tingling.
