Looking good. People are sleeping on this one big time.
I wonder how co op will work with this? Assuming the perma death feature is still part of it, players might be cagey about letting others control some of your survivors. I'm guessing you'll either bring one of your characters into their game or you'll get a random character to play while you are in someone else's session.
The flare mechanicin this game is pretty interesting. When you play you get assigned to world and if you get into trouble and need help you cah shoot a flare and everbody assigned to that world can see it and come help you.
They haven't yet detailed any specifics yet though. But will be interestinh to see how those helpers come into your game and also to see if human player count is still limited to four. I meah you could do cool stuff around the flare mechanic, like world instances that require many people to take down a powerful...much like the instances in Guild Wars 2 for example.
I'm really curious to hear about how the perma death mechanic will work in co op. I assume you'll bring your character into another game and if it gets killed it's gone from your game as well.
Its perma death, so yeah, I would expect it to work the same as before. Death is death.
Not sure if you know this, but the world is 3 times larger than the original.
The one from MS's presser was gameplay, but interms of watching somebody play it, no. Well not that have seen thus far. It isn't playable at E3 either as far as I can see.Is there any real gameplay of this? Tired of seeing trailers for 3 years. lol
