There really isn't anything that can be done beyond him denying it. If you are thinking he is going to be replaced its not going to happen because if there was even a small chance of that happening you probably wouldn't have seen every major Democrat endorse him after the allegations came out.

No he's not going to be replaced but better to get it all out and done now instead of the media doing the best they can to ignore the story and having all of these liberal women who claimed that all woman should be heard and believed turn around and ignore these accusations completely.

Kavanagh was a drunk guy in his teens, he shouldn't have done what she said he did but he didn't penetrate her in any way, he held her down and then nothing happened it was stupid and mean but I'm sorry it's nowhere near the same thing as a 50 year old senator pushing a woman up against a wall and forcing his hand up her skirt and digitally penetrating her. The other thing is Kavanaugh's accuser was listened to, they held hearings based on her accusations, Reade is being ignored as much as possible and she actually has more corroboration than Ford did. She'll end up going on fox because they'll be the only one's who will talk to her and then everyone on the left will call her a right wing plant.

Trump shouldn't have gotten away with it either but that's not the point, republicans weren't the ones going around saying "believe all women" that was mostly the women on our side doing that and now they are showing themselves to be nothing more than hypocritical opportunists.

The media covered Trumps accusers, they are doing everything they can to ignore Reade or bury her. I'm not one of those people who was going around saying "believe all women" either I always said listen to them but don't automatically believe them, too many people on our side took the other approach and now look like they only care about an alleged "victim" if it suits their political needs at the time.

But there is still not much that can be done beyond a denial. I feel like people that are saying they need to deal with it are thinking he is going to admit it and apologize but even if he did do it there is no way that will happen.

There is a difference between being as bad and it being nothing as you said. No it was not nothing. If you believe her story it was attempted rape.

And no the media did not cover any of Trump's accusers. I couldn't tell any of their names or any details. I don't know how you could claim it was covered.

It was never said to "believe all", but to listen. Huge, huge difference. The point is to never dismiss a claim, which was done so much in the past.

Ultimately though, these things can be investigated, but to what end? You'll get to a "he said, she said".

I'm not dismissing it as much as just realizing that's where we land. Sadly, only 2 people are going to know what happened and I'm not tearing down Biden over 1 accusation.

It wasn't really attempted rape because he stopped, it was holding her against her will which was a dick more for sure but he was a teenager and drunk, I don't think you hold people to account for things they did in their formative years. I knew a guy who used to pull his dick out in the quad after school and show it to some of the girls, should his future be ruined because of something stupid he did in high school?

As far as Biden it's not about him denying it, it's about it actually being taken seriously by the media, and given the same amount of attention that they did to Kavanaugh. As far as Trump's accusers you probably can't remember their names because there were so many of them and the media spends every second talking about some new stupid thing he did. If you look it up you'll find the info easy to find.

It was said to believe all, not everyone was saying it but it was all women on the left who did. I get that it's he said/she said but the hypocrisy by our senators and the media is terrible. They made Al Franken resign for pretending to touch a woman's boobs while she slept in a picture. Biden very well could have attacked this woman and isn't even getting a second look by anyone on our side is a shame.

His campaign is even lying about a NYT piece on the matter, at least they looked into it of course they don't mention her mother calling in to Larry King at the time but then again she wasn't very specific during that call.

People don't understand that CNN is not pro-Democrat, but pro-ratings. They'll do anything that gets them views, and they've done more to get Trump re-elected than Fox could even dream of.

I love how they say his denial that the incident happened is a "talking point". LOL, no agenda there.

As I said before, we'll never know the truth. I don't know what happened (if anything), and neither does CNN.

All I do know is that I don't have nearly enough to tear apart someone.
 
And there is no real move for the politicians other than being hypocritical. You are at a point where its either support Biden or give Trump 4 more years.

This allegation is 4-5 months too late.

He never denied it until today, he was never asked directly by anyone in the media until this morning even though he's been interviewed many times since this allegation was made, his campaign put out a statement before and that was it. Then they sent out talking points to their surrogates the same way politicians always do and the talking points were untrue.

I saw some clips, Mika kept a nice somber tone but she didn't really ask the right questions she just fixated on one area. At least someone finally asked him though, this allegation has been out there for over a month and nobody asked him directly until today.

She asked a LOT of hard hitting questions. She asked pretty much everything that is possible to be asked. Watch the whole thing.

That's the point, the media is complicit in it, some asked the campaign for a response but when they had the chance to actually ask him directly they never did and they've done their best to ignore this completely, they won't even have Tara Reade on their shows.

From what I watched and other criticisms of the interview I've seen it seems like she didn't bring up any of Reade's corroborating evidence and just sort of let it seem like Reade had nothing baciking her up.
 
Ah yes the media that wouldn't stop talking about buttery mails is now all in on protecting Democrats.

Biden has my vote but I'm sick of this hypocritical BS, none of these people care about victims they care about what they can get out of that persons pain. If it helps them in some way they'll go out on every tv show and get louder and louder and start calling for everyone to resign, they'll pretend to be showing leadership when all they are trying to do is get the attention on themselves.

If someone on their side is accused of the same thing it's "Oh we have to have due process" or "I know him and I believe him" both sides are like this and it's bulls***. It should always have been about listening to a woman's accusations but so many on our side went all out on the "believe women" and some even said "believe ALL women" so now they look even more foolish when they change their story because they no longer get anything out of it.

It's not just about sexual assault or harassment claims either it's about everything, Trumps kids are trash but so is Biden's kid and you'd never know it if you listened to any Democrat. When they were all going out of their way to pretend that Burisma job wasn't shady it drove me crazy, just admit even if it wasn't illegal it was a bad look and move on but they couldn't even do that.

Seriously? Didn't say that, they are protecting Biden though. Hillary's email scandal was made worse by the way she handled it, she lied and tried to shift blame etc. This Biden story had been mostly ignored by the MSM until the NYT got pissed at Biden's campaign for spreading talking points telling people to misquote the their reporting and basically put their reputation on the line.

But again there nothing else that could be done even if you do care about the victims. Of course its hypocritical but its hypocrisy or help Trump. Those are the real choices. So even if your heart was in the right place before there is still no way to not look bad now. I can't really look at the Kavanaugh situation and think "Well it was just attempted rape they probably should have let it slide".

I think that believe all women was meant to be give them a chance to tell their story and listen and then some took it too far and now common sense is lost. You should be able to "believe" and still not assume guilt. It doesn't really do victims any favors in the long run.

Hunter Biden is worth zero attention.

Don't pretend the emails were really worth that much attention. The media is a disaster but if they are protecting Biden it certainly isn't on purpose.

And honestly the best thing that could happen for Biden would be the media wearing itself out on it now as opposed to September and October.

She absolutely did. She talked about her mother corroborating it, her friends the same, the went into full detail on it before the interview and laid it all out there for the viewer.

What due process isn't happening? There's an active investigation going on. Should we all hold our breath and stand on one leg while we await the results? Seriously? What are we not doing that we should?

You're making these vague straw man arguments against presumably random people on the internet when nobody here has ever done what you say.

This story is still on the front page of CNN's politics page, it isn't like it is being buried.
