The one dumb point he made was complaining about Sanders and Warren prioritizing unity. There is no other choice and they are smart enough to know that.

He also claims progressives should work with Republicans when they can...

Sanders and Warren never should have run together, they should have figured out a way for one of them to sit out and just agree to offer the other the VP slot or any position they'd like if they won the nomination.

The fact that we rarely have one party in control of everything means that at some point progressives and republicans will have to compromise from time to time, nothing crazy about that. Honestly I do wish progressives and the more populist members of the republican party would work together to push the corporatist Dems and Republicans when they can. Pelosi and Schumer need a kick in the pants, hell I'd love to see them both replaced but that's not going to happen, clearly Moscow Mitch and Trump have to go too but we'd be better off with all of them out of power IMO.

There is no scenario where progressives could break with the party to work with Republicans. He wasn't talking about compromising. He thinks Republicans are having an ideological shift.

They aren't.

Also Pelosi is far from perfect but man would we be so much worse off with on of the alternatives. Speaker Tim Ryan would have been a disaster.

I've always loved Aldrin's reaction but Faucci's might be my favorite now. Trying so hard not to laugh.

There are some that are, there are populists on both sides that can find some common ground that will benefit the poor and working class. Yuu won't get anything but a lot of grandstanding by the leadership in both parties right now.

He's even sexually harassing money, WTF? :p Seriously though they need to address this stuff before the general, Trump has way more claims against him but his party was hardly the one screaming "Believe all women" like ours was, same thing with the Kavanaugh hearings and what he was accused of wasn't as bad as what Biden is.

Kavanaugh was in his early 20's, drunk and didn't actually do anything, Biden was a sitting senator, 50 years old and not only harassed her but put her up against a wall and actually digitally penetrated her. Again this is only an accusation but there is quite a bit of corroboration here and nominating him without getting this taken care of one way or the other is very risky. I know some of you are just going to say "well you didn't want him to be the nominee anyway" and that's right, that had nothing to do with this accusation though.

Well yeah that is kind of what I am going to say since you said Kavanaugh didn't actually do anything.

There really isn't anything that can be done beyond him denying it. If you are thinking he is going to be replaced its not going to happen because if there was even a small chance of that happening you probably wouldn't have seen every major Democrat endorse him after the allegations came out.

So, we have to rake Biden over the coals over a single allegation from the 90s, meanwhile Trump is on tape literally saying "grab 'em by the p***y", and has countless allegations that have never, ever been addressed or seen the light of day? Who knows how many non-disclosure settlements he has?
