With most of world advised to stay at home, could there be a possibility that someone out there watches Netflix’s entire catalog?

There's gotta be some weirdo out there who is nearing this. There's always someone on the internet who tries to get famous doing the dumbest s***

Well... not that hard really, just watch on several units at the same time (ie phone, TV, tablet e.t.c).... still might take some time though, and don't remember the limit on simultaneously viewing?

My first scheduled delivery is to Louisiana and I'm kind of freaked out. They just issued a Stay At Home order.

My customer is probably able to stay open because they make paper products.

When I arrive, I'm putting on safety glasses and a paper mask before I get out of the cab. I'm going to bring a big thermos of water and soap and maybe wipe down the dashboard after I leave.

Part of me wants to just quite, part of me feels fortunate to have a high demand job, and part of me hopes these are paper products getting into the medical industry to help people.

Still freaked out.

I work as software developer for a small clinical trial company, we have had 4 sponsors asking for quotes to quickly set up and run a COVID19 trial... kinda exiting

your lives could depend on my data management system, good luck

GET BACK TO WORK THEN!!!! /he says sarcastically, kinda ;)

But in all seriousness much love to ya and all the best with that.

Would doing this be of any help?

Reluctantly went into a truck stop for supplies. So much business as usual out here.

Earlier I had trouble with a trailer I was picking up and the yard jockey came over to chat and help. Like, no awareness of social distance. He's also an older guy with a few missing teeth and a heavy smoker.

Oh well, I don't know what to make of this thing it's insane. I have water and soap thing setup in my truck.

I've heard this actually is comparable to the Flu, except the problem is we get it all at once plus the hospital beds are not as open for other problems like car accidents or heart attacks. I mean I'm not sure how worried I need to be statistically, although I'm headed to Louisiana which sounds really bad.

They're finally in the process of running fiber cables across my property today....and they've done so much damage to my 1/4 mile driveway already...ugh. They decided to do it during the wettest time of the year and it's already going to take me days and days of work to fill in the trenches they've done so far. If it wasn't for the possibility of one day having good internet and ridding myself of satellite TV service, I would've snapped as soon as I saw it.

Sucks about the driveway but life without a fast internet would be completly awful right now so hopefully it makes the pandemic more bearable.

They're repairing it, right?

Because I don't like humans.

It probably won't be available for a few months at the earliest, on top of not wanting some potential covid creeps up in my house right now...

Probably not. I figured I better not anger them over it until they're finished with the project. The line is passing through about 10 acres of property and I don't want to cause any trouble until they're almost finished here.

I don't actually use "social media" yet I follow things that I consider informative on Twitter.

Just scrolled down my feed (last checked it this morning on the toilet) and the only informative thing I saw was National Geographic posting something about some old ass jelly fish.

The rest of it was just spam from media types trying to stay afloat I guess?

Anyway, made me realise how much I care about all the informative news about stuff I'm into, and even just the news in general.

I wish this all could have been a heavily pre-planned shutdown. Ramped up production in the early months so we have the food and supplies available to dole out in someway. Then allow most people to stay and home and be at ease not worried about finances, debts, or losing their job. To many people including me still have to work.

I would happily stay home for a 3 to 4 months "Staycation". Most of us are overworked anyway.

Worst thing is, I bet this comes back for round 2 after the Summer heat goes away. We should use the Summer to retool our work force for Automation during that time so we have productivity that can be taxed.

I dunno. I just feel like ranting. I'd rather home than moved back into a truck.
