I have off play earned my masters in elementary education.
There's someone in a black Dodge Charger who keeps getting into chases with Arkansas state troopers. They can't keep up with him/her going 140mph+. They do it at night without headlights. I think it's an alien who can see in the dark.

Maybe delete billing info on the account?
I had something like that recently, but I went directly to Best Buy website no clicking a link. I just double checked and I hadn't put an credit card on it, I'd only signed up to verify a warranty status for an in store purchase.
It's also possible some asshat is just trying to bruteforce accounts and the email from Best Buy was legit.
I'd just go on the official site and change your password to be sure (sounds like you already did that). Double check the purchases and make sure nothing new is on there.
The trick is, never trust the link in the e-mail. If you get an e-mail from Best Buy, just browse right to bestbuy.com yourself.
It might not have been a scam like Video said. Someone could have been trying to get into the account.
The best thing in general is to never save credit card info on there.
The #1 thing overall is never use the same passwords across these sites.
Use something like Keepass to save passwords, and generate random ones for each site. Chances are, if you've been online long enough, at least one of your old passwords is out there. People are out there using e-mail and password combos trying to get in to things. A few years back someone was trying to get into a bunch of my accounts and I got a bunch of these "password change" confirmations and they were legit.

KeePass is a free open source password manager. Passwords can be stored in an encrypted database, which can be unlocked with one master key.
I get tons of fake "Geek Squad" invoices lately, so these seem to be going around, but they are pretty easy to spot.

Yeah I haven’t used the Best Buy website in years. I had a BB credit card at one point, but I closed all my excess CCards and now just have one from my bank.
No new chargers on my bank account and I have zero info on Best Buy. So all good I guess.

I can't tell you how many times I get those emails. I get them for myself and for my mother's account (she don't know computers and i take care of her online matters). Best Buy is such a pos company.

I did just buy bike shorts and they are kind of a game changer.
So... my Sega Saturn Fenrir mod started acting up, audio cracks and games crash.
After hours of searching forums, cleaning and picking the console apart and buying new connecting cables I decided too just make a clean, new install. Needed to copy over the games on the SD card to my HDD on my old PC.... fml lol

Thinking of going back for a second masters. I already have a masters in elementary education. The next one would be physical education. While those jobs are scarce, it would be the perfect fit for me. I've yet to land my own classroom, so I'd be subbing, again, for a year. I'm thinking of using this year to focus on a second masters to give me a wider breath of what I can teach. Right now I can teach elementary grades and also biology (or any science) and technology from k-12.
Looks like I’m doing the whole baby thing again. This one was a bit unexpected, but we did want another kid at some point so probably for the best to rip the band aid off.

Hope everyone had a nice Labor Day weekend.
I didn't do much. Kind of hung out and did cooked up some lamb chops for dinner yesterday. Did some bike riding and played with VR.
Mostly just nice to chill at home and not be driving the truck all freakin day.

Mine was pretty chill, even though I still went to work. Neighbors bbq, so they saw me and fed me
I played Starfield a bunch, took my kids to do something, and grilled some slabs of ribs. Was a nice weekend.
Unfortunately, this is not happening. Found out Wednesday we lost the pregnancy.
Not something I thought would hurt this much but I was wrong. Life sucks sometimes. Feel kind of alone in the frustration and grief or whatever you want to call it, as we’ve hardly told anybody.
At least it’s the weekend.
