Perfect statement. In fact, midway during Brotherhood I got tired of the game. I only finished that game and Revelations for the storyline. I learned my lesson and just watched the ending of AC3 on youtube. And the other thing is, I always loved the storyline during the game, but the ending to every game sucked. I always ended each game with the feeling of "is that really how this game is gonna end?"
 
Still haven't preordered an X1. Been holding out hoping some retailer will have a bonus pack in at launch or will release an X-mas bundle where the store tosses in a free game on their own. Might bite the bullet soon though as all signs point to no freebies!
 
I dunno about anyone else here but the wait for next gen is really dragging on. This year was flying in like every other normal year right up until Xbox One was announced. Since that day it feels like every day has passed so slowly. It doesn't help that I also have a vacation booked at the end of this month and I've been looking forward to that also.

I'll be picking up a Wii U Wind Waker bundle soon, probably also get the new Sonic for it. Should keep me busy until my Xbox One ships.

Yep. This wait sucks monkey balls. For me the year up until the reveal was brutally slow. Once the reveal hit, it seemed May, June and July flew by. As we got into August and no release date had been set, the last month+ has been equally as brutal as pre-reveal. Just get me the damn console already! I'm on a pretty taxing project for the next 3 months so outside of Thanksgiving weekend, I won't really be able to dedicate too much time to the X1 until mid-December. Doesn't make waiting any easier knowing that though :)

GTA V will help make the time go faster.
 
hi everyone this is my first post but i have enjoyed reading TXB since the xbox 360 was released.cant wait until the xbox one is here.
 
Nice forum. Much enjoying the Xbox talk here. Much better than the anti Microsoft shenanigans going on at Gaf. Quite embarrassing whats happened there. Anyways yeah... Ryse, Battlefield4, and Forza will be the games i pick up at launch. And i agree, the wait is abit grueling. Least GTA will keep me busy till then.
 
New member long term stalker on teamxbox, can't believe this EDGE story today..........it has to be bollocks there is now way that the difference is that much.....
 
So, Who isn't all that excited and counting the days till launch ? I'm not. Not sure why. I mean it has some games I want, and one I crave ( BF4), but I'm just not catching the hype for next gen. Makes me feel sad.

Well Lost Planet 3 came really quick after release on GoD, same with The Beureu (beareau? f*** languages) so hopefully we might see GTA V in a week or so too.

Yeah, not really the place, but you're right. Place is going good. 300+ members. lots of traffic. Just need to keep it going.

Agreed, which is why I'm going to try and get to the MS store in Boston next Friday to get my hands on an X1.

If I make it I'll post some impressions here.

That's normal, I can't be excited about something that's two months away. United, Alabama, Mayweather all tomorrow is something to be excited about. I'm sure you like myself will be more excited with a week or so to go.
 
Buying next-gen systems is destroying my wallet along with my savings. I haven't spent this much on gaming in years, if ever, since I've never bought 2 next gen systems in 1 year.
