Thief

Well at least you admit it.

Still not sure why you gave Microsoft $500+ of Sony's money.

Just Messing with you.

It's hard to completely turn your back on them lol. 360 was the last console I owned and I loved it for the first few years. Gotta own both consoles for all those exclusives. Besides, my gf paid for half of it. ^_^

Newsflash, all corporations lie, so why aren't you attacking all of them?
When I find them lying I do, whats your guys reason for attacking Microsoft what have they lied about? I said what my reason is for Sony.

Not really, you are clearly racist.
How does that make me racist? It just says that they are proud of their country and I'm doing the same thing.

And if it's the thing about camera well am not making it up so it's no different than saying "ohh just few years ago for the first time I saw American not wearing a watch cz they are always in hurry"

Fist time I saw black person was also few years ago as where I come from we didn't do slavery so, does that also make me racist? LOL

Let's dial everything back. If this continues, thread is getting locked. Thanks.

Ok true I'm thankfull for that, what else? I'd trade my achievements for those free games anyday though. Partychat is priceless and xbox live and entertainment on it.

Tell me something as I'm curious are you able to suspend and resume games yet on ps4? As they did promise it or remote play the game on vita that's actually running on ps4?

And TBH I'm glad there's direct competition it does benefit us, but if only attacking would stop and all of us get on developers butts about releasing unfinished games we would all be better off.

Btw being a fanboy is not an insult now is it? And calling whole generation won before it even really started is silly.

Correction: There is PS4->Vita remote play and it's been there since launch and it works beautifully.

I've tried remote play. While a cool option, I just can't do it on regular basis.

Small screen and some control sacrifices kind of ruin the experience on certain types of games.

Microsoft willing cooperates with the NSA theres a reason theres not a larger number of corporations on there. The only reason that Microsoft is taking them to court is to try and make it look like they are trying to do something about it, it has more to do with public image then any actual 'cause'.

As I said, don't trust either company but trying to make out that one is far worse then the other is really stretching bait your just looking for reasons to hate on Sony.
Where's the proof that they are doing it willingly? I mean when you get a court order you either do it as they say or close the company doors for good pretty much. Not many corporations are on there because not many corporations needed to be on there I mean how many ppl use anything else for search besides Bing, Google, Yahoo?

I do agree that no company should be trusted, but seems as though Microsoft is getting crap for being straight forward about some things while Sony gets a free pass for lying.
Not one of you guys have said that yeah you are bothered by them lying or infecting computers while you do trash microsoft because they had a vision and announced it. Wich translates into as if you are being coerced at what to say. So one does few things wrong and it's no worse than another one who complied with court order. They even lied about KZ being 1080p according to ign and eurogamer articles.

What's even worse is websites like IGN having the need to twist the truth into something bad or only say half the truth to make it sound even worse. Like this
http://www.ign.com/articles/2014/02/28/microsoft-concerned-over-kinect-spying-claims

Nowhere does it mention PSEye was no different according to the source he used. Then goes to twist how MS is concerned over spying through Kinect. Anyone educated knows that anything you send over the internet can be intercepted at internet hubs so how is Kinect any more concern than a phone or pc/laptops? And we all know that Kinect only transmits that when in Skype call.

I guess this thread has run its course unless something new pops up regarding Thief.

Not defending MS here or anything, but to hear theorist go about it, you would think that the companies involved in the NSA business were just completely ecstatic to comply; they threw a party, had balloons and s***.

I can't wait until 2 months form now when this forum is still arguing about which weaker console is the stronger one.

Can't wait until GTA V comes out and we start discussing the next-gen console ports while the PC enthusiasts sit back and laugh while they play the PC port @ 1080p/60 fps all day everyday.

Why do you jump between security issues and game dev issues? if you want game dev issues just look at good ole albert penellos statements on neoGAF where he insisted they wouldn't give a significant advantage to Sony power wise then disappeared after the reveal when it was revealed that all his statements pretty much where bunk and he was just spreading FUD to try and get fanboys to believe in teh secret sauce.

wrt to compiling with security, read this.

I'm sure they didn't want to give up everyones personal data had they had a choice, but the fact that they did so quietly would certainly give me pause hooking up a Kinect. That said, that has little to do with why I don't want anything to do with that device.

I really like the game...reviews were usually right, technical issues and the narrative sorta suck, but the gameplay easily makes this game an 8. Friggen plebs complaining about the "combat" in a stealth game..

That's the problem with some people who like to twist stuff around like those on neogaf. Albert said there's no way they would give 30% power difference. Did he lie? Actual visual difference is around 10% I don't see a single game on xbox looking 30% worse so he didn't lie. It is however completelly separate isdue that some people think that resolution difference we've seen = 500gflops of power.

So what does that link say? That you have no idea what the court order means. Its not like they had a choice did they? I'm sure Sony had 100% choice to not to put spyware on cds and rootkits. Its funny how microsoft is soo evil for abiding the law and Sony are saints for breaking the law for personal gain lol.

I'm sure Sony was Court Ordered to tell you that KZ is 1080p

Do an internet search as to what is GAG order by court. Wich they were all issued one.

I really liked last Thief on xbox, but hearing how this one has terrible AI and only about 10 hrs of gameplay kind of turned me away, eventhough that I was looking forwards to it.

Have you played the previous game? How does this one stack up against it play wise and not graphics?

That's simply not accurate.
If you do some research about it you will find that it is true. They want to reveal to users what government is taking but court said no that would undermine the effort and impair "national security"

I mean it doesn't change a thing and I'm so surprised that we don't have riots going on over all this as it clearly messes with privacy act.

I don't want to get into a PRISM discussion, but these corporations were not exactly victims here. I wouldn't be all too surprised if they were given some sort of unknown benefit for their cooperation. They certainly weren't legally bound to keep quiet when the whole thing was above the law to begin with, though I'm sure the NSA could/would have retaliated in some fashion. It's all just an ugly affair, and you are right about the lack of public uproar, I find it disheartening.

Ps4 is easily 30% more powerful than the xb1 lol. Are you serious?

I played deadly shadows on the xbox, never had the capability to play the games before then. Unless you played deadly shadows in third person only, this game is quite similar. So far I don't see the A.I. problems, they patrol, react to noise, will investigate the spot of the noise and a little around, clearly react when I'm lit up in their line of sight..but, I'm playing on master with a bunch of modifiers. Though none of those modifiers effect A.I.

Truly the most annoying thing is how the guards in the city repeat the same lines a bit too often. And how no one says taffer.

I feel like the assorted sites and reviewers have been too harsh. It's like the industry hates stealth games, and if they don't pull a blacklist and try to put shoddy shooter elements in it (even if it doesnt work) then it's somehow bad.

Finally, I somewhat doubt the 10 hour thing, I've played 8 hours and only completed (roughly) 3 levels. (I sorta lose track of things with the city hub and side missions) The game has 8 chapters and I just started the beginning of the second. Of course, this is with the caveat that I play it 100% as a stealth game, I've tweaked the difficulty to make it as such, it's slow, ponderous, and..pretty tense and creepy sometimes.

I feel like these people have an agenda to sh!t on stealth games. Maybe they get the wrong people for it, you don't get a JRPG guy to review a sports game.

LOUD ATTENTION SEEKING SIGH

They are given serious financial compensation if they cooperate
